Always wanted a small anchor for my kayaks. You ever get in that one "spot" but either the wind or current takes you away? This fixes that. I've always used the big bulky mushroom anchors, but they're a pain to get un-stuck from the mud and are usually very heavy. This is perfect for the lake or ponds. River and larger bodies of water will need a bit more "oomf." This only a pound and a half. The anchor collapses when you pull the pin up, so it is also great for storage. Since its only a pound, your gonna wanna drop onto something solid, like a tree limb or rocks to keep you in place. Great little addition to your kayak arsenal!

I like to go kayak fishing in the Spring and Summer months. Something that has always been a problem is drifting around when I'm casting to shore. I got this to help solve that problem. The anchor is painted all cast iron and feels very heavy duty. It comes with a good length of rope, buoy and carabiner to secure it. It all stows away easily in a small storage bag so it won't all get scattered around in the hull. Super happy I got this and can't wait to put it to work this Spring.
