It also holds a generous amount of your essentials. The back pocket can hold your cell phone. The inside has a large slip pocket where I toss a pack of gum and a small mirror. In the main compartment, I put my car keys, my wallet/card case and Bose earbuds. It also has a spacious front zip pocket where I put my travel perfume, lip balm and lipstick, hand lotion, and hand sanitizer with plenty room to spare. Quality Versus Brand Status As opposed to some leather goods that are sold for the status of the brand, Kate Spade puts an emphasis on quality first and allows that to be what elevates the brand and gives the owner the status of demanding quality and function over the facade of just a name. This bag is definitely in the “investment piece” category with every panel of fine grain leather, every stitch, the lining, zippers, magnetic closure and 18k hardware exudes quality and luxe. This is the perfect way for someone to have a quality bag with enough brand appreciation and status to add that extra level of value, while not paying for just a name and a logo. The seller has represented the bag accurately in the title, description and the images provided. The quality, look and feel is even better than you would expect. The bag measures approximately 5.5” top to bottom, 11.5” side to side and 2.5” thick (varies slightly with contents in bag). The chain/strap allows the bag to hang down about 11”. The bag is unstructured, so it has a slight amount of give when between your arm and body versus bags with a hard shell lining that can be a little cumbersome when walking and sitting. The magnetic closure clicks closed with minimal effort and holds secure. The inner zipper is smooth to open/close and feels solid. The faille lining adds a touch of luxury and structure. The combination gold link and leather strap adds some bling, but is still comfortable on the shoulder. The leather is extremely smooth and soft, yet very durable, so this bag will last indefinitely with the proper care. There's no faux leather, vegan leather, PU leather, pleather, synthetic leather or leatherette that comes anywhere close to the look and feel of genuine leather, no matter how much effort is put into perfecting it. Got this for the wife. This is just as good as any of her more expensive purses, it's definitely well made, and it's got a lot of neat features. My wife likes like on the back of the purse. A quick slide in little pocket for like her phone. So that she can use it and put it away quickly without having to unzip or UN. Finding a pocket is just the perfect place. So on the inside the purse, so you can put it there and nobody can really get to it. If they don't see you put it in there, nobody knows it's there. It's the perfect size for quick storage of your phone which is obviously a big deal nowadays but its zippers are extremely good. It's very stylish. Plenty of room without being overly too big. A lot of purses this size are not really that roomy. This is a little bit thicker and it's plenty of room in there. For whatever she wants to put in, it's a great quality. The stitching on it is good. The zippers are very well made everything on it works really nice. It's very smooth. Zippers, really important and the quality on this is really fantastic. I highly recommend this. Just the wife loves it and me. Looking at it from a man's point of view as far as is it well made definitely definitely well made highly recommend this one.
