I got these pot holders in the pink and green color combination and absolutely love them! The colors are so pretty together, and these potholders have a bright, fresh, and cheerful look to them.     • Chic looking but also functional and protect you from high heat

I love the simple but chic look of these pot holders. But that's Kate Spade for ya. It's hard to tell from the listing picture, but both pot holders are exactly the same. I say that because I thought one was striped and the other black, but listing is just showing the backside of one of them, which has the grippers. I love using these rather than those small grippers you see as I'm always afraid one will slip out of my hands. I can comfortably slip my hands into these to grab the heaviest items and be protected. I used my 5 qt dutch oven the other day and that thing scares me. These protected my hands from the extreme heat and didn't slip in any way (phew). I'm hoping there's an entire line of this print including towels because if so, I plan to buy them so I have a matching set. Definitely recommend these. ... show more

These stylish Kateb Spade pot holders work well. They are pretty and keep the heat from the counter. Each pot holder has a hang tag from the top. They are about 10" long making them perfect for removing pots and pans from the oven.

Before I had washed these pot holders a few times, I like them a lot. But now that they have gone through the washing machine, they haven't held up very well. The material appears wrinkly after it dries. Oh and the black stripes are fading... it appears the dye is rubbing off! I suspect it is wearing off because the black lines inside the pot holder are still dark and crisp. Plus, the rubber back has picked up tons of teeny tiny fuzzies from the other towels I washed these pot holders with. But as far as usefulness goes, they are fantastic pot holders. They're very thick and I barely feel the warmth of my through them. They fit my hands well and I feel safe using these potholders. But even if useful, I find them a bit ugly now. These pot holders give a stylish flare to any kitchen and are made rather well. I really like that they are not entirely cloth and have the heat resistant, silicone backing. This provides better protection while holding something hot - or they can be used as placemat for a hot item. These aren't quite as flexible as a glove type of pot holder and only cover the hand rather than any of your arm. So these work best when your hand is flatter - like holding a baking dish, rather than gripping. They are comfortable to use and washing machine friendly - which is wonderful since stains might happen. These are the best pot holders I own. I absolutely love them because they double as oven mitts, without all the bulk.
