This is my second Kate Spade case that looks very similar to each other. I first bought this for my daughter’s wedding because it looked kind of wedding-y. It had a bit of bling, but it wasn’t an in your face, gaudy bling. The second I got because it’s just so darn cute. This one is described as light purple. The gems have a very slight lilac tint (not noticeable), and the case edging is a stripe of light lilac. That’s about it. To me the gems look almost clear and I don’t notice the edging stripe. The fit is perfectly snug and it isn’t a problem to put it on as it has an enough flexibility to get it on. The case is clear, and my phone is navy blue. So I trimmed the white paper that comes with the case to make the backing white. Lesson learned - do not buy a navy phone. A minor complaint is when I drop the phone, sometimes I lose a gem. That’s on me. My first case lasted a little over a year until the edge cracked and I lost about 6 gems. It probably would have lasted longer, but I tend to fidget and snap the edge of the case.
