I am older (48), but my acne has never left me. I have had it since I was a tiny teen. I have very large pores and this product is great for shrinking the appearance of those ugly large pores. The product is thick, foamy, and gentle but strong enough to make a major difference. It does have the scent of sulfur which turns a lot of people off, BUT I love it! I have noticed my skin is less oily, pores smaller, some acne scars are gone and my skin looks so smooth and pretty. This is a great product, I’ve damaged my skin barrier overdoing it with benzoyl peroxide but my acne needs to be controlled with some sort of active or it will go crazy, so sulfur is a gentle alternative! This cleanser is more effective and gentler than a (cheaper, admittedly) bar version of sulfur soap. (It also does NOT have that egg smell which is really a bonus. !) ... show more

This stuff saved my skin!!! I get fungal acne, closed comedones, sensitive skin, all of it and I use this once in the mornings and once a week as a mask for 5 minutes and my skin has CLEARED up with no irritation or dryness. It is worth every single freaking penny.

While it’s disappointing to see the product not fill the tube, at least it’s transparent and while a little pricey, a little product goes a long way. Smells great too. The price may make me hesitant to buy again.

I have used this for years. I have older, acne--prone skin and this cleanser is gentle and effective. It removes makeup well and easily rinses off. It doesn’t smell good, but the smell isnt bad either. This is a staple!!

I have used this facewash for probably a decade (37, female). Acne-prone (now suddely have rosaeca after discontinuing birth control) have been on so many topical and oral rx's for my skin, including doing two rounds of accutane. (I don't recommend using this while on accutane as it is a bit too drying for that.) But I used it before and afterwards with no problem. My skin has become less oily since I did accutane, and with aging I guess, so if you have normal-to-dry skin I would recommend only using it in the evening with lukewarm water so that your skin doesn't get too dry. If you have oily skin, you will love this and probably be able to tolorate it in AM & PM if you need to wash your face twice a day. I have tried benzyol peroxide, salicylic acid, and other facewashes for acne-prone skin and none have been as effective as this sulfur one has been. You really don't need a lot of it as it emulisfys well, so although it's pricy, it lasts if you are mindful of the amount you are using. 100000% worth it. I will forever purchase this. ... show more

I’ve been using this stuff for a couple months consistently now. I’m shocked. My blackheads look so much smaller and there’s not as much gunk and grossness in my poors anymore. This stuff truly works you just need to give it a couple weeks to see improvements. You also need to use it correctly. Use it like a face mask and leave it on for 10-20 minutes. Rub the cleanser around your face like you would with any other cleanser especially around nose and chin area- the places we notice blackheads and sebum the most and then leave it there. Then wash it off. You’re not going to see improvements like mine if you treat it like a normal cleanser. I’m definitely buying again. Update August 26th 2025 I love this cleanser. I use it along with my regular cleanser and swap according to my needs atm. It’s still working exactly the way I said it does. I use it as a mask 2-3 times a week. Smaller pores, less whiteheads, less everything. My face looks better in general with this cleanser. I’m always going to buy this one. No weird smell either. ... show more
