I was expecting higher quality material. I would say the quality matches the price. The band is stretchy, but yet it has a zipper also. Definitely didn’t need the zipper since it stretched so much and can easily slip it on and off. It would be pretty as a business casual skirt, but need to be cautious of the thin material and have layers underneath. There are some good and bad things about this skirt. For the good: 1) I do like how the elastic band is hidden so it feels comfy without looking like an elastic skirt. 2) The tweed is pretty. 3) the faux wrap detail is really cute. 4) nice length. For the bad: 1) it’s a little roomy in the hip area … I may dry it to see if it’ll shrink or take it in a bit. 2) the buttons look cheap. I thought they’d look more like metal but they are clearly cheap plastic. From far away they look fine. Overall, I think this skirt is pretty and I like it as a comfy work option. This is the second skirt from this brand that I have purchased and I love how their size charts are so reliable. The fit is great and the length is slightly under the knee as pictured. I love how the waistband is elastic, because it makes for a much more comfortable work outfit. I got the apricot color for a natural but brighter piece of clothing and it's really cute in person.
