I've tried several night driving glasses over the years, but the KastKing IllumiLens Night Vision Glasses have truly exceeded my expectations. These night vision lenses has been my most useful purchase so far this year. I originally bought these because I often drive at night in a city that gets a ton of rain, and the driving conditions get terrible. These lenses actually do what they say - things look clearer, and the glare is way down. I’ve also noticed they work well during day time fog as well. A surprising application I’ve used them for is fishing at sunset. My polarized Ray Ban’s lose detail towards the evening but these lenses actually enhance the clarity. I’ve been able to see striped bass at up to 20 ft depth at sunset, and it’s been pretty fun for sight fishing. The lenses are pretty durable and well made, and are much lighter than I originally anticipated. The case is a plus for throwing it into my glove compartment. Would definitely recommend based on the price point and for how effective they are. I live right outside of the countryside where it often gets rainy, and these lenses provide excellent clarity for me at night! They also work pretty darn well in fog and rain during the day.

I bought these for night driving, specifically because they were described as "Polarized Night Driving Glasses." My eyes aren't dealing as well with the glare of oncoming headlights as well as they used to. The Kast King frames are great. Strong and lightweight. They fit very securely but at the same time are so comfortable that you can easily forget you have them on. The lens color itself is great for low light, fog, and rainy conditions. The polycarbonate lenses are tough and distortion-free. I have a tendency to drop my sunglasses, and these have made a few trips from my head to the ground. So far they have come away damage-free, with no scratches. Originally I disliked the polarization on these, and returned them. I re-purchased them again a few months later to give them another try. This was after doing some additional research and reading on polarized glasses online. I have come to learn that most light-tint glasses are not polarized in the same manner as darker-tint glasses. Being for night-time use, these have a very light yellow tint to them which is not conducive to traditional polarization. I have come to find these Kast King glasses do have a very effective anti-glare/anti-reflective coating on them. I have had multiple opportunities to wear them when driving at night, both in clear and in rainy/foggy conditions. In my experience they do reduce the glare of the oncoming headlights significantly. Their light yellow tint brightens the scene and improves the visual contrast for me at night. I can better see objects at the edges of the roadway (pedestrians, animals, etc.) that were previously difficult to see from the glare. My eyes are less strained and I feel less fatigued after a long, dark drive. These are also fantastic by day under any kind of overcast our gloomy conditions. The overall view through the lenses appears much brighter and sharper. If the sun does break through though you'll definitely want to switch to a different pair of glasses with a darker tint. I will add that these glasses are packed very nicely in a quality gift box. The hard-shell zipper case included with them is well made and they also include a microfiber drawstring pouch that doubles as a cleaning cloth. Though I initially had 2nd thoughts, I have come around on the Kast King night driving glasses and do give them my recommendation. I have another pair of polarized Kast King glasses for daytime use and they are fantastic too.

I have astigmatism and difficulty seeing at night (halos and lines), I got these because I wear contacts for work so I need to be able to see the road when I leave in the mornings. This product did… nothing at all. It’s like it makes the world orange and that’s about it. Didn’t change anything with lights or nothing. They fit fine, style is fine, but for $25 I was hoping it would do SOMETHING. Feels like a waste of money.
