Reviewer Measurements: 5'9" | 146lbs | 34G Bust Size Ordered: Medium The first day I wore this to work, I had four separate coworkers ask me, "What does your shirt say?" Of course, I knew when I ordered this that it would be loud and garner a lot attention. What I didn't expect was that people actually wouldn't be able to read it. My main plan was to wear this under a blazer or vest most of the time, but I figured for its first trip out of the house, I'd put it fully out there. Fabric quality on this is great, as to be expected from a brand like this. I was actually surprised that it feels much thicker than it looks, which is actually why I didn't pair it with a blazer on a warmer day. Thick and tightly woven fabric to the point where it's not see-through at all unless you're wearing a particularly loud bra underneath. The main reason I'm giving this four vs. five stars is the fit. I felt the need to tuck it in, because it was so long and large that it felt completely unflattering. With the thick fabric, it holds its own shape, which means it can give you whatever shape it wants. Once I tucked it in, it looked much nicer (and less loud), but due to the length, it practically reached my thighs underneath my jeans. If I were to order this again, I'd probably go a size down, which is rare when talking about designer brands. Overall, I do recommend. Just take the size chart with a grain of salt and size down if you want a more flattering fit. ... show more

First let me say that fashion is subjective. I got this shirt to go under sweaters (to hang out). However, in the end it didn’t work for my needs. That doesn’t mean it isn’t a great shirt, it just didn’t work as I planned. The shirt is a bold print. The shirt is much longer than expected. It would be cute with skinny jeans or leggings. The fit is generous. The fabric is machine washable. A bonus. I always appreciate a machine wash piece. If you are looking for a bold, branded piece, this is it. Generous sizing and longer? Yep. I got this shirt because I thought it could be a fun, retro-fashion way to wear an old-time designer piece. It has a lot of potential, as you can see in the second photo, but it's so huge and boxy, it just kind of misses the mark even if worn for the kitsch factor. I ordered my normal small, but, as you can see from the first pic, it is really big! Moreover, the fabric, even though it says 100% cotton, is a very stiff cotton, which keeps it from tucking in well to potentially hide the oversized fit. I was hoping that it being 100% cotton, it would have a more flattering way of laying, but being so stiff and large, I really can't see how it would be comfortable even if I could style it to look a bit more flattering. You can see that I was able to make it look okay by tying it at the waist and rolling the sleeves, but it's still just so uncomfortable and stiff, I had to change after wearing it for a few hours. If only keeping things that bring you joy is part of your New Year's resolutions, as it is mine, I can't see keeping this. No joy here. I am being generous with three stars even, but it is a designer brand, so you might like it just for that. ... show more

I usually avoid clothes with brand names on them (I know, right?) but something about the bold print appealed to me and I just had a feeling... since I got it through Vine I thought, I'd give it a try. Success! I quite like it! Only you know if this is your style or not - if i is here's what you need to know. PRINT IS BIG & WELL-ALIGNED. Each letter is 1.25" tall and when I first saw it, it seemed too bold, but I got used to it. Most importantly, the horizontal pattern is very well aligned. No, you can't read perfect words accross the center, but it's aligned so that there's nothing distracting and you don't notice at all. There is interruption in the print where the cuffs connect to the sleeves, but it is aligned correctly -it's not like suddenly the cuff fabric is diagonal, which you see in sloppy work. FIT IS TRUE-TO-SIZE FOR-DELIBERATELY OVERSIZED LOOK... or it's for very tall very skinny...: I bought a large b/c I wear a 12. give or take, and while the shoulders are clearly too long, the fit around my waist is on point. Not snug, but not a tent. Also the shirt is substantially longer in the back which I quite like. MATERIAL: It's a nice crisp 100% cotton which I like quite a bit, thoguh it holds a wrinkle. Is it to-of-the-line like from a 300 year-old Parisian tailor? No. But it's good. It serves but does not surpass the price point. END OF THE DAY: Yes, this says Karl Lagerfeld Paris but was made in Indonesia for an not-couture price. That's the world we live in. If that works for you, go for it! Loving this oversized, all over print (which spells out the designer's name "Karl Lagerfeld"). It's a easy way to dress yourself up and look intentionally well put together.. The oversized fit has just the right amount of extra material, without feeling engulfed, swallowed up, and/or lost while wearing. Oh, one last note! It's sooooo very versatile! Dress up or down with a pair of straight leg jeans and NB sneakers, or tucked in to a pair of palazzo linen pants and trendy ballerina flats. 5/5 ... show more
