Sound is loud enough for my living room, it comes with two mics, the only issue is that you have to hold the mics at a certain distance/angle to get the right sound. This is a fun little unit. It's definitely loud enough. Two microphones are a must-have as far as I'm concerned. Easy to port around, rechargeable and great lights. The old units didn't have lights, and these set a nice ambience. Really happy with this purchase.
