The price is Right, the weight is light, and I just might use it on my next big job for a year and a half. Butt seriously it is a phenomenal level. Excellent design I am a Stabila owner and these make steel stud frame work and door and window installation a breeze.

Got this level when Amazon appeared to have an especially low price (and it went up after I ordered it). The vials are especially easy to read, and the cut outs in the top surface makes it very easy to read. The description is pretty accurate, and all the features appear to be just exactly the way they are described. The magnets are strong. This level is supposedly aluminum. Either there is a thick plastic coating on a thin aluminum structure, or only the top and bottom edges are aluminum. The level is very light, but it doesn't seem flimsy, it's just seems to be more plastic than metal. What I want out of a level is: a) The level is really level. The surfaces do appear to be milled. I don't have a machinist's straight edge to check it, but it seems very flat. My caliper says that the edges are parallel. b) Easy to read - the vials on this level are easy to read, and the bubble is the right size to judge level c) Rugged enough to not worry about handling it - I have some concerns here, but as I said, it's not at all flimsy For what I paid for it, it's a great value. At the current price, you can get an empire level, which is a bit more hefty, but doesn't appear to me to be as accurate or as easy to use

In my opinion the verticle bubbles are too far toward the ends and make reading more difficult with such a long level. First time using it I found both of the vertical bubbles are off 3/16 to 1/4 inch in the 6 feet. I use my level daily and accuracy is important in my lime of work. The horizontal bubble is true but the verticle isn't. I verified by simply spinning the level using the other flat plain and if the bubble shows the same your level is true but if, like this one. The bubble shifts or is different then you can be confident your level is defective. I had a video but Amazon said it was in violation somehow. And one last thing, the level came with a scan code that said if you're unsatisfied for any reason contact us and when I use the scan code it took me to a website that said the websites no longer available or invalid so the company might not be around for any type of warranty or replacement.

Doing a basement, all steel beams . Very light level, Good rubber on ends , magnetic holds good on corner beads . Shipping could have been better, bigger box with no packing, but very good price. Accuracy,easy to read, light weight.
