The cage works great for a 12yr old - a lot of front toss and tee work. One of my fiberglass poles broke in a wind storm and the company responded right away and will send a replacement - great customer support.

    • Exactly what we were looking for.
We got this cage for Christmas and put it up immediately for our 9 and 11 year-old kids. It withstood wind and rain (not much rain in Southern California), and sat out in the sun the whole time. The netting is good for the younger group. I took a few swings and ended up ripping the net, but it wasn't advertised for washed up college guys to use. Fortunately, there is a patch kit and the boys were quick to repair my mistake. Consider how much you are paying, and this is well worth the cost. ... show more

    • After being outdoors for one year the pole flaps and net have deteriorated. Poles cracked
I loved the cage when it was new. After 6 months in the elements the entire cage net, please, and flaps have either torn or cracked. I’m hoping the warranty on the product goes beyond 12 months. Unless I receive a replacement I would not recommend.

Just after assembling mine an unexpected storm came through and destroyed a bunch of my poles. I reached out to customer service to see if they would consider replacing the damaged poles, and they weee very fast and friendly to respond and send new equipment. This batting cage has been great for pitching Lite-Flite baseballs and softballs with the Jugs pitching machine. The only issue we have had is the durability of the support poles. It came with an extra, but we have now had more than one break. Customer service has offered to send us replacement poles at no charge! ... show more

You will need two other people to help you to make this installation easier. Overall I'm pleased with the outcome of this install and what it being used for. I use the JUGS Lite-Flite Machine . I don't know if using regular baseballs is as reliable but they do include net patching within the kit. The opening of the net is a little low but you can raise it with a zip tie if needed.     • The fiberglass poles broke in 4 days.
I ask about getting new poles and got no response. A fellow costumer told me to just but some pvc pipes . I will try that.
