My 1st order did not go well and I returned. The seller contacted me and offered to ship another set and give the headset another try. Speaking to the seller it is evident they care about the product success and are very communicative to make things right. Upon opening the box I will say the smell of the 2nd set headset earpads I received had the same bad smell of the 1st headset but not as intense. The smell is not chemical it's just a very bad smell which I don't have a description for. The company should really consider looking into using better ear pads which have minimal smell or bone at all. After using a few drops of perfume spray the headset was usable but I will be looking at ear pad repacments. About my experience with the headset... Did a quick sound test over the 2.4 receiver and found the sound to decent, sound is a bit muddy with high frequencies needing a small boost, high mid at the 4k can also use a small boost. For bass, lowered the 250 a bit and boosted the 60 and 120 to get a less boom and more deeper bass. In my mind the sound is acceptable at this price point, I've had worse. Although I know wired sound would probably be best though my Sound Blaster sound card. Testing the sound with bluetoothe there was no degradation in quality but using bluetooth for gaming was impossible because the headset is forest to "Hands-Free" mode on PC instead of steero which is really bad as Bluetooth cannot handle both microphone and earphones at high quality at the same time which is typical to Bluetooth headset on PC. Overall it is usable, at this price range, the sound stage is better than other cheap headsets I've purchased in the past and with EQ I was able to reach satisfactory clarity for my needs. If music is you main use look for something else. I like my headsets more defined and clear in the high mids, not muddy in the low frequencies and nice and rumbly on the low end (,not boomy), this headset is acceptable when gaming as a second headset when I'm tired of the cord holding me back. Battery life seems very decent, been using 3 days in a row without charging yet with average of 4 to 5 hours a day. Cons: when muting microphone the headset speaks out "Microphone off" and , "Microphone off" which mutes audio during this message. Considering the mic has a light on and off when muted this is a bad design decision by the manufacturer and during a game to lose audio when turning mic on or off is just an annoyance. The RGB is nice but you need to turn it off Everytime you turn on the headset for those who prefer it off to save on battery life be prepared. The headset is also on the large side, I'm using the headset on the smallest size and I'm willing to bet a person with a smaller head may not be as comfortable. Are they worth $45 - Yes Sound quality out of the box - 6 Sound quality with EQ - 7.5 Features BT, 2.4 wireless and wired options - 10 Customer service - 11 Build quality - 8 Comfort - 8 Ear pads - 2 Hope this helps. ... show more

Having been disappointed by a pair of Logitech headphones that struggled with both holding a charge and maintaining a wireless connection, I decided to take a chance on a different brand. My experience with these new headphones has been brief, as I've only had them for a single day. I charged them immediately and put them through a rigorous 10-hour test, and so far, I'm genuinely impressed. These headphones proved to be a true plug-and-play device, instantly working and connecting without a hitch. I can enjoy PC audio throughout my home, even though it's a relatively smaller space, eliminating the need for constant readjustments. This is a stark contrast to my previous Logitech experience, and I'm relieved that I can now listen to anything or engage in voice chats using the optional mic (although I use a Blue Yeti mic at my desk).
