Let me preface this by saying that I spend an ungodly amount of hours researching dog baths before purchasing this one. There just aren't a lot of reviews for dog baths in this price range and category, so it was agonizing deciding on which one to go with. I finally settled on the Kanis and it has worked well for us far. It's well constructed and solid stainless steel that should last for many years to come. I considered deducting a star because the plumbing fixtures could not be any cheaper and the instructions are horrendous, but those are fixable nuisances. I think the instructions were actually for an older iteration of the tub and they haven't updated them yet. There were parts in the instructions that weren't included with my tub, and a few parts in the box that I still don't know where they go because the instructions didn't even have them on the parts list. I do think for the price they could have spent and extra $20 on some better plumbing fixtures (the sprayer in particular is laughably cheap) and included a YouTube installation instructional video, but again, it's not something that should prevent you from ordering this tub. I had a plumber connect it to a pre-existing hot water tank and drain in my garage, which everyone should do, so budget that cost into your project. Love this. I was limited on space but it works well for my 80lb dog. The ramp is ideal for allowing her to walk into the tub. I love that the inside tray can be raised for our smaller dog. Because of my drain setup I could not use the supplied flexible drain tubing. I had to hard connect to the drain. ... show more

    • Overall great product that could use some improvement
I have purchased two of these dog wash stations. Excellent quality overall and easy to assemble. Some aspects of the assembly may require two people due to its weight. The only part I think is a bit substandard is the plumbing which is flimsy and functionally questionable. There is a clean out trap in the plumbing line that can cause a hydro lock that prevents the water to drain effectively (this is per a professional plumber I hired to replace the plumbing line with better quality parts). This doesn’t take away from the overall quality of the dog wash station which is good. Functionally, it works great. Our two labs do well being washed. Plenty of room and well organized. Sprayer hose has plenty of length. The soap dispenser is not great and I don’t use it. The ramp works well but is a bit steep. I could see older dogs having a hard time and slipping while on it. This company has OUTSTANDING customer service. I contacted them and Alex responded quickly. We were home when Amazon delivered this heavy box. The two guys dropped it and were gone before we had a chance to come outside and examine the box, which had clearly been damaged by a fork lift. When we unpacked the Kanis we saw that the stainless steel was bent. If this had not been so well packaged there would have been more damage. I contacted Alex and Amazon. And and I was able to resolve any issues. This product is well made and well worth the money - its an investment. I highly recommed it and would by it again. ... show more
