We purchased the Kanis 38" dog bathing station to bathe two Shetland Sheepdogs. It is perfectly sized for a Sheltie and was skillfully designed and made with top rate materials. As seen in the photo, we replaced a garage utility sink and counter with the Kanis tub, installing tile behind it and retaining part of the previous cabinet and counter resulting in a very handsome addition to our garage that will surely add to our home's value. We think it's a selling advantage for any home owner, as what dog lover wouldn't jump at the chance of having a dog washing station in their home? Although we removed the old utility sink, we didn't lose that function, as the Kanis tub serves both as a smartly designed dog washing tub that is also utility sink, potting bench and grooming station. Kanis' customer support was absolutely first rate and unexpectedly helpful. They sent an extra soap bottle so that we could have both shampoo and conditioner at the ready when washing our dogs (the tub comes pre-drilled for up to four additional bottles). One thing to note is that if your drain pipe hole is high - as ours is - the tub needs to be raised for the water to drain. We had our carpenter craft 4" risers (though blocks of wood would have worked just fine) to lift the tub so that water smoothly flows down into the drain pipe and thus not back up. Kanis has designed a trap on their drain which allows it to be cleared of any dog hair that might collect in the trap. We looked at a lot of dog washing stations, but these folks have really put thought into creating an exceptional tub. Superb, just superb.

This is a great product. High quality materials. I have two qualms with it, and actually they are with little pieces of it. 1. The handle for the shower head is slippery. It's a bit annoying to navigate while washing a dog and having your hands lathered up. It would have been nice if there was a rubberized grip on it. 2. The apron that comes with it is great, but the tie off is really short, so you have to reach behind your back and try to tie it there. The ties should be quite a bit longer so you can tie in front like you would a kitchen apron.

Shipping was faster than originally indicated and the delivery was quick, efficient, and friendly. Everything was packed really well and was obvious how to unbox safely. I had a few questions along the way and Kanis answered me, even on the weekend which I found very impressive! Everything works great and it was easy to assemble with no leaks. I did a lot of renovation to the space beforehand and was very happy to see that their measurements were accurate. We gave my 6 month old, 24 pound, doodle her first bath the next day and she was super comfortable in it, much much better than when we tried to wash her in the bathtub. I'm very pleased with this dog wash station and am wondering if I should start offering to wash the neighborhood dogs, LOL!

This bath tub is AMAZING. The quality is top notch and super durable. It’s heavy duty and easy to assemble. I have multiple golden retrievers so taking them to the groomers can get a bit pricey. The Kanis tub has a bit of everything, a storage compartment, faucet, hose and plastic plates for your furry pet to stand on. If you have multiple dogs or are looking to open up your own grooming center this tub is hard to beat. Hands down one of the best products I’ve purchased from Amazon in the past 10 years.

I have been wanting a dog wash station for several months, but did not want to spend the money. I was debating on getting a $700 one, but when my husband compared that one to this Kannis model, he said it was a no-brainer and to get this model. I am absolutely in love with this dog wash station. It is fantastic, solid quality. Every part of it is well-made and well thought out. Even the plumbers who installed it were impressed and took pictures of it. My daughter and my neighbor come to use it as well. I can’t say enough good things about this dog wash station. If you’re on the fence, just get it. You will be glad you did.

The media could not be loaded. I have been wanting to get one of these bathing stations for awhile now because my dad constantly needs baths and i'm sick of her hair clogging my bath tub. The assembling process was super quick and easy. Not to mention, my dog loves it too!

We are so impressed with this tub. We have a 30 & a 40 lb dog. They frequently get muddy or roll in something stinky such that we don’t want to bring them inside so we installed the Kanis tub in our garage. We turn on a space heater & use the tub to bathe them even for regular baths now. Kanis also has great customer service. We used a plumber to install & they said the drain tube provided would better for a floor drain than a wall drain. They didn’t use Kanis drain tube. Amazon delivery service was disappointing but I did not mark off for that.

*Update- the customer service has been excellent! They read my review and sent a replacement gasket (free). With the new gasket installed and removing a small portion of the nonslip tread where the door seats on the gasket (contributing to poor seal), it no longer leaks! After a small rust spot formed they also sent a stainless steel cleaning kit to clean and prevent further rust. Above and beyond in their customer service department- thanks Alex!! Decided to save my back and purchase this tub. Putting it together was pretty easy and it was packaged well. As others have stated it would be nice if it came with permanent plumbing. The plumbing that came with it to drain the tub continued to leak, so had to replace that. It fits my 70lbs lab great! I appreciate the suction cup lickmat and waterproof apron that were bonuses. I’ve used it 4 times now for dog baths, and it gets the job done. I like the options to arrange the hose, faucet, soap dispenser, etc., with the various hole cutouts. My biggest complaint aside from the temporary drainage plumbing is that the door leaks! I’ve ensured the seal is seated properly, but water still drips and pools on the floor. So I’ve been draping the waterproof apron or a towel over the inside of the door to prevent leaking. For the price, I’m disappointed it leaks, but don’t want to take it apart and send it back.
