BEWARE: This is a cool hat BUT three of them have gotten destroyed with light use in 3 months. I have every single purchase receipt to prove that I've owned 3 of these in a very short time frame. I thought it was me wearing the hat too much or that I got a defective one. EVERY hat started to go yellow around the brim from the slightest bit of sweat. I EVEN TOOK THE HAT OFF AS SOON AS I STARTED EVEN THINKING ABOUT SWEAT with the second and third hats and they all had the same exact problem regardless of how careful I was. Whatever material or coloring they use is not ideal to deal with the least bit of moisture. Almost 100$ later I reached out to Kangol to see what they could recommend I do and if they can help in any way and I never even received a response. Nice looking but cheap product with non existent customer service. Save your money or buy another hat... unless you don't sometimes sweat from your head that is :) ... show more

I ordered the black hat for my boyfriend, and over the course of a couple of months, the black faded, and the hat turned this weird orange-rust color with some spots still black. The hat fits great and he loves it, but for this expensive price, they should have spent more money and research on quality dye/material to avoid this caveat; it makes it feel low quality. It can be hard to tell based on pictures/lighting, so I included multiple to show the weird discoloration, and compared it to a white background as well as to a pure black fabric. ... show more

Despite some issues, this is my favorite hat I've ever owned. I think it's sized slightly small, but once I bought an XXL it's the best-fitting hat I've found for my large head (had to go to their official site because I couldn't find that size here on Amazon). The Large/XL that I got here on Amazon comfortably fits me, but unfortunately the headband leaves a big fat line across my forehead. I've only had this hat for two months and I already see that it's starting to fade. I see that's a common complaint here in the reviews, with some people saying it's from sweat and some people saying it's from sunlight. My hat isn't exposed to much of either and I haven't washed it, so it seems like the color on these just isn't made to last. I wish I could try one of their other material hats (like ripstop) to see if they survive any better, but I don't see that material offered in XXL. I guess I'll just have to see how many months this hat lasts me before deciding whether it's worth purchasing another. ... show more

I bought 2 Kangol cadet/army style caps a few years ago. They were adjustable. They had a discreet tag with a Kangol kangaroo on it. They fit well. Unfortunately I lost them, and Kangol doesn't make that style anymore. This hat is techinically the right size for me, but it's not adjustable. If it were, I'd make it a bit snugger, so I could wear it when it's windy, or on my local ferry. The brim is too wide for my extra-large forehead, so the hat sticks out on the sides. It's not a flattering look. The has that big, obnoxious "KANGOL" stitching on it. I find it tacky. It's like they're just trying to adversize they're own brand. I don't like clothing that has a huge company logo on it. ... show more

I like the style of this hat and I think it looks great, but it comes with some serious downsides. The hat runs small and from the reviews I’ve read, the sizing isn’t ever consistent as most who buy large say that also runs large. It sounds like you either get a really big or really small hat, meaning this hat may not work for you unless you fall into one of those camps. I got mine in black and it was SIGNIFICANTLY faded after 5 days of walking around Zurich and Munich doing tourist stuff. ... show more

I had this cap about 2 months and the black on it started fading badly (see the brown parts on the picture below). Besides the fact that the sizes run quite small (fits very tight around my head), the quality here is substandard. This thing is also a dog hair magnet. I have a dog and despite the fact that my dog is never near my head any loose dog hair gets attached. Wish I could get my money back. ... show more

I’ve got this as a gift for a very special friend who just lost their wife! He loves these hats! So I was excited when I found them on here! He received it as surprised & happy as he was. Big disappointment by receiving wrong size! It’s extremely way too large to fit him or anyone we know!! I am extremely mad we got these hats are very expensive & now the expensive hat is useless! Wish I could return! He just informed me that it is too large when I asked him about the Kangol! My return date was 7th it’s the 13 today!
