The media could not be loaded. The rafter square is square. The combination square is not. I checked both using a square I knew was square. The combo square is out of square not matter what. So far the speed square looks great! And I love the color!

I own a handyman service that does a fair bit of trim carpentry. I wanted to get a slightly larger square and the bubble level on this one looked interesting. Sometimes a better mousetrap is invented, but unfortunately for my trim carpentry needs this didn't turn out to be that better mousetrap. This square has several nice features, but the unique features, like the level and 4" rule, haven't turned out to be useful to my specific needs. The main body of the square is milled from a thick plate of aluminum and the markings are very clear and easy to read. The markings appear to be painted on, so long term durability may be an issue. The removable plastic "fence" fits well, but I was surprised that it's plastic. Even the pins in the fence that fit into slots in the main triangle are plastic, which isn't confidence inspiring for long term durability.

Not for everyday use. I used it at work everyday at work for a month and the markings wore off in that short time. Also the yellow part does not stay on and keeps coming off. Poor design and build
