Worth the cost. Young daughter would wear through the other brands too fast. They would crack under the use. These boots have lasted her wearing and will be still 100% for when our other child comes to them. We have purchased multiple pairs.

We spend a lot of time outdoors and rain doesn’t stop us, especially when we have the right gear. I am a firm believer in buying gear that lasts. We used Kamik when the kids were really little and they weren’t huge fans. The kids seem to like them now, though they aren’t the brand we usually buy. I just got these today. Second set since my 5yr old just grew out of the last set we had. When I opened them one boot had two “rock” (photo 2) like objects in the tread of the boot. I scrapped them out and looked closer. They are warn and used.

Although I just bought these, they look to be put together very well. We live in the Country and My Grandson wears rain boots a lot. I'll update as we go on these boots.

These are great boots for rowdy kids. My son wore holes through the Lonecone brand in less than a month, whereas we've had these boots now for a month and a half and the treads still look brand new. They are a narrow leg opening and since they don't have pull handles you may need to help your kid put them on, but my 3.5 year old has that figured out now. Still need to master putting them on the right feet though! The upturned front in the toe box is actually a really nice design since most kids tend to drag their feet a lot when they wear rain boots. These feel lightweight enough that my kid is not too bogged down with the extra weight when compared to sneakers. ... show more
