This lock-on tree stand is an excellent value for the price. The overall build quality feels solid, and once it is properly secured to the tree with both straps, it sits quietly and feels stable. Noise is a major concern with hunting equipment, so I appreciate that it does not squeak or make distracting sounds while in use. The seat is another strong point. It is noticeably comfortable and provides good support for longer sits, which makes a real difference during extended hunts. Setup does take a little attention because there are several components and straps to position correctly, but the result is a secure and comfortable stand. One small issue I experienced was with the seat coming loose while transporting the stand. I am not sure whether the seat is intended to remain attached when carrying it into the woods, but I added paracord through the seat and tied it off at the back as a backup. This prevents it from falling to the ground or getting lost if it comes loose again. It is a simple modification that adds peace of mind during transport. Overall, I expect this stand to hold up for many seasons with normal care. I do not leave my hunting equipment outside year-round; I take it down at the end of the season and store it in my garage until fall. For hunters who maintain their gear and want a quiet, comfortable, and reasonably priced lock-on stand, this is a very good option.

The good, this tree stand is fairly lightweight, its not light but significantly lighter than other stands I've owned. Its also super convenient if you move locations frequently. Personally I set my stand up in one spot for the season, so I dont really need the added convenience but I am very happy to have that even if it is only twice a season. The stand is about as easy as any other hang on stand to setup. If feels pretty sturdy. The seat is fairly comfortable, but the overall stand isn't the most comfortable for long all day sits. Again if your changing locations, like its meant for its awesome. Overall its a really well made stand that's very portable at a decent, but not great price (around $300).

This tree stand?seat is made from Aircraft grade aluminum and ASTM F2337 certified for safety. Rated at 300lbs accommodates climber and gear. 2 high strength Nylon webbing straps secure it to the tree. Deep vee serrated teeth in the rear bite into the tree bark for stability and the straps prevent slippage. Seat is made of 4 inch memory foam which can be flipped up and out of the way when standing. All washers are made of neoprene for noiseless action. Safety harness for hunter included. This is extremely well made and will last for many seasons without issue. I RECOMMEND.

I received the Hang On Tree Stands, Lightweight Aluminum TreeStand for Deer Hunting through the Amazon Vine Program. From my personal point of view, this is a good hang-on tree stand that offers a nice balance between weight, portability, and functionality. 🦌🌲 One of the biggest advantages for me is the aluminum construction. When carrying hunting equipment any distance into the woods, every extra pound matters. A lightweight stand is much easier to transport than some of the heavier steel stands, especially when I am also carrying other hunting gear. The platform provides a practical elevated hunting position, and the overall design is fairly straightforward. Once properly installed on a suitable tree, it gives the hunter a compact setup without taking up a lot of space. 🌲 I also like this type of stand for hunters who prefer to move locations rather than leave a large permanent stand in one place. Being lightweight makes it better suited for a more mobile hunting setup. The overall construction appears appropriate for its intended purpose. As with any elevated hunting equipment, I would always carefully inspect the stand, straps, attachment points, and hardware before every use and follow the manufacturer's instructions and weight limitations. I also strongly believe in using a properly rated fall-arrest safety harness and staying connected to the tree whenever leaving the ground. No hunting opportunity is worth taking unnecessary chances with safety. There really is not anything overly complicated about this stand, which I consider a positive. It provides the basic functionality I would expect from a lightweight aluminum hang-on stand and should work well for deer hunting when properly installed. I am giving it ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 out of 5 stars. It performs well and the lightweight aluminum construction is a definite advantage, but I do not see enough about it that makes it significantly different from other good-quality hang-on stands to move it into my five-star category. Overall, I am satisfied with it. If you are looking for a portable aluminum hang-on stand that is easier to carry into the woods, I think this is a practical option. 🦌👍 ⭐ Review Disclaimer: This review is based entirely on my personal experience and opinion. Reviews are subjective, and your experience may differ. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 STARS — LIGHTWEIGHT, PORTABLE, AND PRACTICAL FOR DEER HUNTING, BUT DOES NOT PARTICULARLY STAND OUT FROM SIMILAR HANG-ON STANDS.

I saddle hunt a lot, but sometimes it's nice to have a seat to sit down. The Kalkal hang on tree stand was a really good solution to have. The stand was easy assemble in about 15 minutes. Once assembled I weight the stand and it came in at about 12 pounds. That's less than what was listed so my scale could be off. The tree stand has a lot of features that I was looking for. To start, the platform provided me with a larger area for standing. Just as important, a flip down seat gave me what I really wanted. The seat padding seems firm at first, but after a few minutes, the pad molds to a comfortable fit. Helps with an all-day hunt. The construction and the welds of the stand are solid and sturdy. I tested the stand on one of my trees and the setup was just as easy as my saddle platform. The included tree straps secured the stand tightly to the tree. The stand teeth dig into the tree bark really well. The stand is height adjustable to suit most tree sizes. Included is a tree harness for hunter's security, but I like using my tether rope. The stand includes backpack straps if you want to pack the stand in only. I always have a backpack, so I was able to strap the stand to the front of my pack. If you want to leave the stand in the tree, I would just remove the padded seat and leave the stand for your next sit. I can still place the stand on the back side of a tree for cover, but I can sit down now when the legs need a little rest.

This stand has been a simpler hang on without a pile of extra sticks. Platform is big enough and the seat is comfortable for a sit. Comes with a harness and straps so you are not buying that separate. Aluminum keeps the weight down compared to steel. Solid stand if you already have a way to get up the tree.

Kalkal Hang On Tree Stand A worthwhile investment. This is a well made tree stand. The instructions could have been a bit clearer, however assembly was fairly easy overall. Once assembled the stand can easily fold down into a fairly compact and easy to maneuver configuration. The metal seems very strong & durable, while still being light enough to make it easy to carry and install in the field. The securement straps are quick & easy to adjust, making set up and removal easy to accomplish in only a matter of minutes. The included pad is nice and thick sparing your backside the discomfort of the metal grid work of the seat. Pleased with this tree stand. 4 stars! Explaining my rating system: 5 - a superior product - I would recommend 4 - above average – a great choice 3 - average – what one might generally expect 2 - below average – I would advise seeking an alternative 1- Horrible – a waste of your valuable money - avoid if at all possible
