Since thin blades produce thin kerfs, Japanese saws remove less wood, produce less sawdust, and need less muscle power. You can cut longer, more accurately, and with less fatigue. Kataba is a backless saw with a stiff blade and fast-cutting teeth, well suited for making deep or long cuts. As the interchange parts are compatible, you can freely combine blades and handles according to the wood material and cutting purpose.
