    • Perfect replacement
In my home I had a rolling metal cart I kept my blender, juicer and a few other appliances on. We'd wheel it from pantry to kitchen when using and then put it away again. My house burnt. I plan on using this as a replacement cart for those items when house is finished.

    • Strong enough for the purpose, rolls easily.
You really should have a drill or an impact driver to assemble this piece. I used a Torx T25 bit. I prefer Torx to Allen, for driving Allen screws, because they grip better and don't tend to round out the screws. I grease screws before inserting them, so they don't get stuck and don't cross thread. I found this to be a bit fiddly to assemble. To assemble this cart, the first thing is to get it square and flat. You connect the long pieces between the end pieces. What I did was to put on the end pieces on one side, which was laid down to be along the floor. Then I flipped it over and did the other side, also on the floor, so I was never assembling one end of a long piece with the other end hanging in the air. Then I put it upright on the flat floor and tightened all 16 screws. That should have made it completely flat to the floor (it would on most pieces I've built) but here it had a wobble. The heaviest piece by far is the bundle with the two glass shelves, with several pieces of styrofoam top, middle and bottom. So I laid this into the place on top for the top shelf (the styrofoam fit too) which put quite a weight on it all. Then I loosened and tightened and voila, no wobble! Then I took the weight back out and there was some wobble again, oh well. I did all I could. When the shelves are in, at least it shouldn't wobble. But I think some of the pieces aren't cut quite square or to the exact length, so that's why I couldn't get rid of all the wobble for the unloaded cart. Installing the shelves fixes this, but I am a perfectionist on this and would prefer everything to be square and unstressed, and I got close with this piece but not quite. It's also less noticeable when I put on the wheels. The wheels are good. They roll silently on ball bearings and two of them are lockable. One of the pieces underneath, supporting your wine bottles, could barely be screwed in because it didn't match up to the screw holes exactly. I doubt I could have gotten all four screws in by hand, but with a power tool, I can push it to line it up as close as possible, then spin the (greased of course) bolt with the driver, and eventually that last screw went in. Once started of course there was no problem. The welds are adequate for this application. All in all, it's a pretty good cart at a very reasonable price. The shelves are well supported and it can easily handle the weight of wine bottles and snacks that might be loaded onto it. ... show more
