I wasn't expecting a high end comforter at this price point, but I was still disappointed. I purchased this for a guest room that is lightly used. I chose the White/Grey/Blue striped color. What arrived was more of a light teal or turquoise color than blue, not a color that I wanted. It's very light - if you live in a cold climate, be sure to have blankets available because this will not provide warmth in the winter. I'm not sure what the filling is, but it has an odd odor and is barely there. I don't have time to return this and source something else locally (the room has be ready for use right away) otherwise I'd return it. It has no washing instructions or tagging on the comforter. I found instructions to set it out in the sun to air out & fluff it & reduce wrinkling (it is vacuum sealed to reduce the shipping size). That did absolutely nothing. The product description says "Machine washable" but I have no idea whether that's everything. or just the sheets (very thin and flimsy) that are machine washable. I'm afraid to put the comforter in the washer as it looks like it might fall apart, and if I do risk it, not sure it can go in the dryer. ... show more
