I received a comforter that I would describe as medium grey. It is not nearly as dark as the picture. It is a simple design, almost too simple for a master bedroom. It feels too informal and maybe better suited to a teenage boy. I got it to use as a stand along comforter and not with a duvet. First off the color is perfect! It is so hard to find the right emerald green color in bedding. Super soft and light weight. It keeps you warm but isn't too warm for summer nights. Opened the package to a weird chemical smell. I've had it sitting out for a few hours now and smell is still there but nothing a run through the washing machine won't get out. Blanket is thinner then I was expecting but the color is a very pretty emerald green and more then makes up for it. Very pleased with this comforter. I layered it with another filled duvet for a fluffier hotel look and I am very pleased. We directly sleep under this one and it is smooth and silky yet warm. The grey is also the perfect compliment to our sheets and duvet cover. 10/10
