  • Totally awesome
Color: Ash Wood
This is one bad beastie, the sound is awesome and superb, very clean sound, easy, light action, easy to tune. I couldn't have made a better investment, well worth it.

  • A Winner!
Color: Ash Wood
I purchased this guitar based on the reviews from the US and from videos and photos of this beautiful guitar. Its a gamble based on just reviews and not being able to play a guitar before purchase but I was willing to take a chance since it is only $100 with free shipping. It arrived quickly because the seller lives close to my city and came undamaged and in good shape though I question whether others will get the same satisfaction due to the single, fragile box it arrived in. I was surprised and thankful that mine came with the ash top and how well the setup of this guitar came; fret ends were good, no dead frets, action good, tuners were ok, strings were ok, weight was good. The tuner is useless to me as you need a magnifying glass to read it since the letters are so tiny and jumps all over the place so I recommend a clip on tuner. Plugged in the guitar has a natural tone which I am pleased with. The laminate wood has a matte finish with beautiful figuring and wood grain you can actually feel. Playing finger style I found the volume a bit low with not much sustain; strumming with a pick it is quite loud. I guessed the strings are of low quality or old but wanted to try a couple of tricks I use to try to improve the tone. I changed the saddle to bone with a lower height and the bridge pins to brass. These two changes gave me the tone I was hoping for; finger picking gave the strings the presence and sustain I like with an increase in volume. Playing with a pick unplugged it is very loud and sounds great. I did have to adjust the neck to remove buzzing on the low E string which was expected. I am still using the stock strings and will change them to Elixers once they start to die. Overall, this is one of my better purchases, especially for the price. I find it a challenge to find a good inexpensive guitar that can sound and play just as well if not better than a solid top guitar. I have owned Harmonys, Kays, Yamaha, Taylor, Martin and many others ranging from under $50 to $2000 and this one is a keeper. ... show more

  • The overall basic feel of this guitar is amazing
Color: Ash Wood
I love how it has a very bright sound and a narrow neck for easy playing. This is the second one that I've purchased and very impressed with the quality for a inexpensive guitar. Definitely be buying more

  • Quality is low and reviews are bad
Color: Zebra Wood
I bought this guitar because the reviews were good and even other sources gave high remarks but disagree.....I knew I was spending under 200 for a new guitar so my original expectations were not that high in the first place I just wanted a decent cheap guitar I could play around a fire and not work about.... it came to me with wrecked box the guitar case came with a hoke in it and the guitar was missing strings and the strings that were on it had rust on them... .. the tuner that is built in works great bit that is literally it... I am returning it ... ... show more

  • Cheap and .... cheerful?
Color: Ash Wood
Guitar is good for the price however... It is a throw away guitar. Meaning it is for a beginner. The frets are too high, the action isn't bad but the nut is plastic, the strings (which obviously you can replace) are high Guage which means tension for tuning and hard on beginner hands. The tuning pegs are the sticking point for purchase. They simply don't hold in tune for any length of time! They may be better with lighter strings, but it is not good. The electronics aren't bad, not good but not bad for $100. Summary Even for a beginner I would look at maybe an Orange (brand name) guitar at this price point. Because once you make any kind of progress you will want to burn this guitar. And, a beginner doesn't want to buy a guitar and then refit upgrade everything on it. ... show more

  • Excellent guitar! In the matter and which is made. Resembles Martin guitars,
Color: Ash Wood
Just no doubt I will reorder from this company. The guitar is not only an admiring guitar, with a superb beauty! Mine came in a large box I do mean large, with another box inside double boxed which secured the guitar very well. The shippers were UPS and did a wonderful job! The guitar is one of high quality not really to be called beginner, this guitar has class! I've been a musician and played many instruments for many years. Especially carrying my six string on my back. This guitar will change the lives of those who hear it along with my words and vocals. Keep up the good work! You know the improvements it needs rough edges on frets. Only pros would notice. Great deal! Great seller! Great communications. The way a deal is supposed to go down! Righteous! ... show more

  • Kadence A05 - Beautiful finish; decent sound - about what you'd expect for a $119 guitar.
Color: Zebra Wood
I'll be honest: I bought this guitar on a whim almost solely because of the gorgeous zebrawood finish and it did not disappoint. Sure, it's still a laminate with a very thin veneer, but at least it's not a printed picture top. For the most part the fit and finish is good with just a few minor blemishes. The fretwork was fine and the neck is thin, making it very easy to play. The electronics seem to work fine. Out of the box, it had horrible fret buzzing, but that was easily corrected by giving the neck a fair amount of relief (with the included Allen key) The factory strings are very cheap, so I replaced them. While I had the strings off, I polished the frets and conditioned the very dry fretboard. Once I got it tuned up, I tested it out. Overall, the sound is good, but nothing amazing. It doesn't have much sustain or bottom end. This seems better suited for fingerstyle play, but even then the notes don't ring out the way you'd like them to on an acoustic guitar. Again - is it terrible? No, it's about what you'd expect from a laminated $119 guitar on Amazon. It does come with a decent padded gig bag, which is nice. This would be a great beginner guitar, after minor adjustments. The finish is stunning and if that makes you pick it up to play then that's something. Please note that ALL guitars need some sort of adjustment. That's just part of owning a guitar. There are a lot of great videos online that teach you how to do a basic setup. Just because you get fret buzzing doesn't mean the guitar is bad - it just needs to be adjusted. Wood changes with temperature and humidity. If you don't feel comfortable adjusting your guitar, find a friend who can do it for you. This is a good instrument at a good price. Let's Music! ... show more
