Since I figured I needed 100 feet of wire to go to my garage I ordered this 14 guage pure copper speaker wire. It is hard to get into the little RCA ends or in any of the ports that hold it with a clip- as it is just a tiny bit big and you have to really twist the copper threads close together... But... the sound is wonderful !!! feels like the singer or talker right in the room, and this is on a little old Japanese made RCA ended 12 speaker box., the sound is way louder and more clear then another speaker in another place with less distance that is 16 guage copper clad aluminum. That one sounds more muffled and dull, ( it is only an 8" speaker but that shouldnt make that much difference). I wouldnt have believed the big difference.!! Very pleased with it! Someone said in another review that the wire is stiff and not as fine threads, but it was very easy and subtle to work with, I had to run it thru some 10 ft pieces of plastic water pipe as it goes from one building to another (should have got outdoor wire) and no problem. I also liked that the price was lower then some others. Make sure you get pure copper wire, it makes a difference if you go long distance. ... show more

Después de acondicionarlo por 100 horas el resultado es bueno a secas pero debería ser de mas hilos de menor diámetro para ser muy flexible.     • Great solid copper wire at a great price
I was expanding my system and adding some new speakers. I wanted to get solid copper wire and learned that a majority of the wire available was actually aluminum with a copper cladding to increase performance and to give it the appearance of copper. It can be tricky to discern in some of the advertising as to what exactly you are buying. Solid copper wire is becoming expensive especially if you buy the name brands. This wire is solid copper wire from Germany and is the real deal. Due to the length of run I had I opted for the 14ga wire, sounds excellent. Highly recommend! ... show more

    • Good cable at a good price.
This cabling is good and works as you'd expect. Using it to carry signal from Emotiva PT1 to power B2+ and T0+ in series over 5 feet runs, no additional amp and it seems to work well. The only thing I wasn't ready for was how hard it is to split the cable for single-wire runs. The only way I could comfortably do it was to make an incision at the end and use plyers to pull them apart. I don't know if that speaks to the quality of the jacketing or not, but just note it'll make you sweat a bit. ... show more

    • Replacement for the standard wire for sound system
I bought this to replace the cheap wire that came with my Logitech 5.1 home theater system and to make sure I had the length that I needed for my small apartment. So far, it has improved the sound quality of my speakers and I was able to to cut it to the length I needed. The positive- durable, high quality sound, is great and was the length I needed. The negative- was a bit difficult to work with at first, but once I got to work on my replacing the old wires and got into a routine, it was easy. Wish it was black, but that is just cosmetic and does not affect performance. All-in-all, the best purchase I made this far and my home theater system sounds better.
