It does the basic job of passing data. It shouldn’t wear out since the cable will be untouched. If it fails for no reason later then the rating changes drastically.

These are excellent cables, well contructed, heavy duty and hold a consistent signal. The only nit I've experienced is the connects are a little "slippery" and can get disconnected fairly easily. Just make sure to secure them and give them some slack so they don't get pulled out of the coax host.

The RCA cables are somewhat like the pictures. The connectors in the packaging did not look like a distinct Gold color as shown in the ad. They were a "lighter tone/tinge" of gold in the sunlight. Like they were not in the plating solution long enough. The actual product will be used for my Sub-woofer LFE connection. Only time will tell if the connector resists corrosion/tarnish. ... show more

I have a $6k system and found this cable to perform better than Audioquest's Irish Red cable in my opinion. I know it's hard to believe, but that was my experience. Strongly recommend.
