I didnt notice a significant increase in gas mileage tbh. However it was an absolutely great deal, especially since its completely washable and is an amazing replacement for the stock filters. I did notice a slight performance increase. The throttle is a bit more responsive but I do use premium gas so it's kind of hard to tell. One would need to dyno the vehicle to measure any true performance gain, which I do not have access to. Absolutely worth the purchase. ... show more

I bought this filter for my 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT and it fits perfectly. The 33-2451 filter has the typical premium build that can be expected of a K&N filter, and inside the box they include a warning sticker that reminds anyone under the hood that your vehicle is equipped with a lifetime filter, a warranty card, and a sticker of the K&N logo. I can neither confirm nor deny whether the the K&N logo sticker adds additional horsepower to your vehicle, but I attached it to my Dell laptop, and it seems like I can now type faster. I've been a longtime buyer of K&N filters, installing them on both on road and offroad vehicles. While the initial purchase of a K&N filter is a higher than that of a disposable filter from companies like Purolator or Fram, K&N's ten year, one million mile warranty on their air filters will guarantee that I won't have to worry about buying a new disposable air filter for my car each year and will only need to wash this filter every 50,000 miles or so. Since I hold onto my vehicles for a long time, this filter will prove to be a great value in that field alone, but when you factor in the slight performance and fuel economy increases, it makes buying a K&N cotton washable air filter a no-brainer. ... show more

    • 7-05-2015 Driving 2013 hyundai Elantra gls with K&N new air filter
Bought, installed and drove 100 mile trip. I instantly saw my MPG listed on dash jump up 4-5 mpg. I did notice a little bit more noise coming from engine when first starting out. Not enough to bother with but worth the extra mpg. If it jumped the horsepower???? I saw no difference but it did not lessen it for sure. This car is peppy to start with so guess time will tell when driving around town with the stop and goes. Can't go wrong guys. Oh it will be a pain to clean every so often instead of buying a OEM replacement for sure. But, the increase in air intake is noticeable and that goes a long ways for mpg and horses.     • Easy and quick to install!
It's very easily install-able. Anyone can do it. That task won't take no more than 5 minutes! No instruction needed. For $50-something for an enhanced air filter might be a bit too much but in the long run, it might save you money and you can get better performance in return. Its size is smaller, it both feels and looks light and nice which is a plus, even though it won't be visibly seen, obviously but it doesn't hurt to have some upgrades done and getting this is one of first things towards upgrading a vehicle. For your information, I bought this for my 2014 Elantra SE 1.4L - so, don't listen to what the site, Amazon, tells you. K & N 33-2451 will work perfectly and fit nicely in any 2014 Elantra. It should work the same on 2.0L as well as any other higher trims on Elantra line, too. ... show more

    • Good engine airflow improvement
Great product and after installing it, it ahs improved the airflow for my engine making my car run at least 5% faster and it feels more powerfull
