Best console car seat that I have owned. I have learn what I wanted in a carrier through hours and hours of research and trial and error. After buying and using this carrier for 3 months Iām 110% satisfied and the search has ended. The console in our car is fairly small, we have an Infinity 2017-QX70. This carrier fits PERFECTLY and very securely on the center console. We use the to short straps to secure it to the console top. The carrier buckled down very securely with no play. I have checked the straps several times to make sure they are not loosened or ripped and everything looks perfect. This carrier has the lead attached to the car seat in the correct position, at the rear of the carrier. This way if there is an impact it will keep your pet safe in the carrier. (Beware there are carriers that have the lead attached in the front of the carrier and your pet will fly out of the carrier and possibly into the windshield). I am not sure why some reviews say that their small dog would not fit we have no issues. My dog is a 10lbs Teddybear, he rides comfortably and will even curl up and fall asleep in the carrier. He even has room for his favorite squeaky. We love that he is up front with us and safely secured in. The sides are extra sturdy and taller which adds to the safety and assurance that he is secure. The assembly was super easy, just zip it up. The zippers are heavy duty and I feel they will hold up. However, once we assembled the carrier we have not disassembled because it has been in the car ever since. The carry straps are like a nylon lead and they are attached securely. When we first received the carrier I would put our pup into the carrier and carry him around the house in it to help get him use to the carrier. When he fell asleep in it I knew he felt comfortable in it and he was ready to use it in the car. I have not had the opportunity to use it for air travel yet but I am sure it will work just fine. When I do I will update this review. So everything considered stop wasting your money buying unsafe care seats for your fur babies. Get this one and keep them safe and comfortable! This is an excellent value for this quality. It compares to the ones you would spend hundreds on dollars for.

This small dog car seat is an excellent value. It's very plush, and boosts my dog up higher than many other seats, so that she can see out of the car window. It's washable (a huge perk when you have a young puppy) and very easy to disassemble and reassemble. It looks very classy too. The harness seems secure, like it would keep my dog from flying out of the seat if braking hard. The biggest reason I am giving this item a 5-star review, however, is their customer service. I had to contact them after receiving the item, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase and experience. A+ customer service from K&H Pet Products. Would definitely consider purchasing more of their items, due to my very positive experience.

I am in LOVE. We are in the middle of a family emergency. My adult son and my fabulous daughter-in-law both got super wonderful job opportunities to start a new life in the middle of this Pandemic. SEVERAL STATES AWAY. Yeah. They made a plan. They sold their modest home. Great! They have dogs. They are trying to buy a house, but none has been available yet in their price range, so they are renting. We encouraged them to take the two very senior big dogs with them, because RENTING ANIMAL LIMITS... We kept the two much younger small dogs for when they can get a house. They are loved- but things happen. One morning one of these precious babies stopped using their back legs. Crisis. Emergency vet visit, transfer to outstanding Surgeon who did very expensive but must have surgery to prevent spinal cord/ damaged disc wheeled cart dismal future. Only time will tell. Healing baby wants human Mom and Dad, who got sympathetic permission to bring the two little ones up to their rental. šš» As soon as Furbaby is well enough, Grandparents will do a two day ROADTRIP. How to best do this? Enter these MARVELOUS K & H Bucket Booster Seats. The large is 24ā wide- long enough for Furbaby to stretch out. Most pet car seats have a metal frame. Canāt have a metal frame near that spine. Some other pet car seats are soft, no protection. Furbaby has to be kept as safe as possible with limited traffic brake bouncing. Too long a trip to just hold Furbaby in a human lap. These pet car seats are made out of a super dense, āTV shipping packing materialā level foam. They are then covered in a very well made and sewn, zippered for washing, soft furry cover. I know quality. I used to sew back in the day. These are QUALITY. Quality is pricey. Weāre seniors on a budget, and these are really not cheap. But, they are perfect for transporting Precious Furbaby. To attach the seat into the car, just run the carās seatbelt through the slot in the bottom on one side. Then slide the seatbelt across and UNDER The sewn in center strap. Reach the other side and exit through the notch. Then, just buckle in as usual. Super secure. Thereās a two inch washable zippered fur cushion to set back in on top of the seat belt so Furbaby is super comfy. Heaven in a Jeep chariot. You may not have the need we have. You may not be in crisis like we are. You may not have Furbabies that have to go on such a long trip. You may not be able to scrape up the money for something this expensive. But, if you do- you canāt do better than this. We are not affiliated with this company in any way. We bought two seats for the pups with our own money, and are happy to take the time to brag on such a quality, safe product.

I purchased this in a LARGE for our 5 month old pup who is currently 16 lbs and will be 27-33lbs most likely. Her neck to tail length is 20ā currently. I purchased this to not only keep her safe, but to help lift her up to see out the window as her car anxiety and motion sickness was really complicating life and making for brutal clean up several times a week. I purchased a ālike new/open boxā seat. I am a fan of this seat for sure. I will explain more about the seat and how we have worked to ease our pupās anxiety, but will first explain our āopen boxā experienceā¦ The seat was of beautiful construction out of the box, but our dog would fall out of the seat (note last picture) and vomit in the car all over the seat and on the carās seats since the seat didnāt contain her. After washing the seat and cleaning the car twice (what a project!), I then went back to the product info and realized our seat did not include the foam wall inside the seat. I should have realized this sooner, but trusted that we had a complete product as ālike new/ open boxā had always been a good experience for us prior. So I called customer service and Amazon refunded the entire seat as the seat company nor Amazon could offer a replacement foam wall. I then purchased a 3ā thickness roll of foam and eyeballed the dimensions as best I could because I didnāt want to waste the seat. The seat was saved. Now, my thoughts on the seat: Itās high quality, easily washable though putting the foam pieces back inside the washed outer seat takes some time. It has definitely helped elevate our pup and lift her head towards the window so she can get fresh air and look out which has definitely aided her to stopping vomiting in the car. To ease her into a positive experience in the seat, I allowed her to nap in it in our living room. She enjoyed the comfort. Then I installed it back in the car. My husband and I have worked towards easing her car anxiety by exposing her everyday to short car rides. We have worked up to faster speeds and longer distance. She is still anxious (some days more than others), but she has not vomited since in the car. Iām very grateful for this seat and highly recommend it for dog owners. While our experience wasnāt straight forward, the product is worth an investment for the safety and comfort of your dog, especially if car sickness is an issue.

I just got a Whippet puppy who I was trying to get used to the car. He is currently small enough to fit in my lap but soon won't be. I didn't want him getting used to that while driving and thinking he could sit in my lap when he's 30+ lbs. He was not staying in the passenger seat and it was really distracting and unsafe while driving with my kids, so I started to look into dog car seats. I chose this seat over others because they looked flimsy and more like dog beds you can get at Home Goods with a lame strap. I was not happy about how much this product was but it is worth it imo. Pros: - sturdier than I imagined. My dog seems very comfortable in this - love the tether for a harness, it actually keeps him in the seat - big enough for him now as a puppy and I do think he'll fit into it as a full grown dog - very soft - appealing color that goes with my car/doesn't get hot - love that it straps into the car easily with a seat belt - lightweight and easy to move - can use as a dog bed out of the car if you're at a restaurant or something. Convenient to have with you on the go Cons: - cost. The actual materials didn't impress me. It's just weird hard foam inside. I do like that the cover is washable and it's sturdy but it doesn't seem like this should be $100. Maybe $75 max. - it doesn't fit great in my car. I have a Kia Sedona minivan which is plenty spacious. I was surprised how big the seat was in my front passenger seat though. That's where it sits most the time, but on a road trip I put it between my kids in the back. I have to put it sideways between car seats but it works. - dog can't jump into the seat himself from out of the car Overall, I'm glad I got this over some other cheaper seat. We travel a lot and I know this will get good use. I take my puppy with me in the car every day from school drop off. He loves seeing the kids and my kids love seeing him with me at pick up. Win!

I cannot express ENOUGH how great this Center Console Dog Car Seat is! I went through probably 8 different styles before finding this one and this is by far the absolute BEST of them all! I wish I had found this from the start! AND I have a smaller front seat area yet I still manage and have a standard transmission so it's even more of a challenge yet it is PERFECT!!!. Luna fits nicely inside, she can see just enough on what's going on around her. She really does fit perfectly. The lead is great. I have it all the way to the smallest setting so there's no leeway for her to try and move around too much. I've driven around my neighborhood a bit to get her a bit used to being inside of the car in her car seat as the others I tried were not working at all so being in the car is really really new experience for her BUT SHE LOVES IT!!! When I'd take her to the vet, I'd have to put her in a carrier that was almost like a backpack, and she looked scared and would sometimes get sick. I think it had to do with the position she was in having to be sideways instead of facing forward and not being able to see what was happening. BUT Now when I say we are going for a ride she runs to the door super excited I get to the car and she jumps up in like a pro right into her east ready to be attached to the lead. She stays facing front and seated faced forward grinning ear to ear the entire ride. I love taking her with me all rides with Luna are pleasant. It's easy to assemble and can be used or setup in all center console styles. She can easily lay down and take a little nap if she wants to and has a couple times when she gets bored from looking out the window or at a stop light too long. I don't blame her stop lights are boring. The bottom cushion can be washed if and when needed so there's no worries there if it gets dirty. It's portable with straps and durable so you can easily take it in and out of the car and use it to carry your animal to and from the house if you want. I have my Luna walk though she could use the exercise š I am beyond satisfied to have found this car seat! It's like the Goldilocks Children's book. We finally found the seat that fits her Just RIGHT!

My Bella enjoys car rides now! She didn't for years. My other dog did, but when they were in the car together it was so stressful. I didn't take them nearly as many places I would have liked to. My little man passed last July. Bella hadn't known home without him. She had awful separation anxiety when I initially got her. She calmed down pretty quickly, but she always had him. Without him, we were both depressed. I hated leaving her home alone, so she started coming on errands with me. In my truck she sat on the huge armrest that folded down beside me. She was comfortable and had a great view. My old car was all scratched up from the two dogs over 10 years. Again, they were comfortable enough and the damage was already done. My truck would no longer pass inspection, so I had to buy a new car. Bella and her brother always tried to stand on the seat with their paws on the dash. Thus, the scratches. Also scratches on the door from doing the same. On the little console beside me etc. I couldn't figure out how to have her ride with me but not damage my car. I started thinking, "if only there was a raised seat that I could put in the car for her." I was considering making something. Then, I figured I couldn't be the only one with these issues. So, I started googling and found an entire product line. Who knew? Probably everyone but me. Bells has a bit of a weight issue, so I needed her seat to be roomy. I had purchased a different one and it was all around awful. This was my second purchase and we both love it! Yes, it takes up the entire passenger seat. That's completely ok! I was happy it fits up front. The pictures of the large one all showed it in the back. The seat is held in with the seat belt. She can sit comfortably, while being able to see out the side window. It would be awesome if it was raised more because she still can't easily see out the windshield. However, she's a smaller breed. A german shepherd definitely wouldn't want it raised any higher. Bella is an old lady, so she doesn't try to get out of this seat often. It has saved my car. It has relieved her anxiety about car rides. She loves them now. Now that she is used to it, I need to start putting her harness on and buckling her in. After 10 years of riding untethered I didn't want to freak her out. Now, I can relax knowing she is comfortable, safe and happy.

I have a booster seat that goes over the headrest and in the back seat of our Jeep for our 11 month old Jack Russell puppy. It works great, keeps her safe and allows her to look out the window. I wanted to buy a second seat for our other car so I did all the research, read all the reviews and finally settled on this K & H Manufacturing booster seat and I am so glad I did! Our puppy is 11 months old and about 14 lbs and is pretty much full grown. I picked the small size and it has worked out well. She is also able to sit in the front seat without setting off the airbag, which is a huge plus, as I would rather have her close if my husband is not riding with her. I liked the idea of a booster sitting directly on the seat as opposed to hanging over the headrest. It just seems safer and better supported. I had taken her in my car a couple times and could tell she was a little nervous as she has always ridden in a car seat. This is very easy to install. You just slide the car seat belt in to the slot at the bottom of the seat and buckle it in like normal. The booster completely fills the car seat. It is very soft with a lot of cushion. There are 2 attachments to hook on to your dogs harness or collar or leash. I guess one is for a second dog but if you don't have a 2nd dog you can just tuck it under the cushion, which is very lush and soft and cushioned. I knew my pup loved it because about a minute after I put her in it, she layed down and went to sleep. I want my dog to be safe (#1), feel safe and be comfortable. This meets all 2 needs. It looks nice too, if that is on your list. After I posted a picture of it on Facebook, a friend commented that she had been looking at the same one for a while and so she immediately ordered one after she saw how happy I was with mine. Big dogs can obviously brace themselves against turns and stops, etc, but small dogs cannot. This keeps them stable and safe. I hook mine to the back clip on her harness because I feel like that is the most safe but there are a lot of ways you can clip them in. The added bonus is that your smaller dog can now see out the window, which also makes them feel safer, protects against car sickness, etc. I am VERY happy with this booster seat - it meets my safety criteria but my dog's comfort. I have attached pictures. You can see that she has plenty of room to sit and turn and lay down. There is definitely room for a bigger dog than 14 lbs in there and if you read other reviews and look at the pictures and read the weight recommendations, you should be able to get a good idea of what size your dog needs. The pictures helped me a lot. Again, my puppy is 14 lbs and has plenty of room in the small. I believe manufacturer guidelines say a small is suitable for dogs up to 25 lbs if I am not mistaken. Great, great purchase. I am so happy with this.
