One of the problems of being a photographer is the cost associated with most gear. I already sink tons of money into lenses and bodies, so I really would like to get a break on the other stuff where I can. I opted to get these batteries instead of the Sony version because the price was MUCH lower. They came charged to about 60-70%, and I popped them in the charger to get them to 100%. As normal, my A7R5 pops up a warning that 'this isn't a recognized battery', but they work great anyway. The A7R5 is a battery hog as it is, so I needed to have at least 4 extra batteries for Weddings and long sessions. These work great, and for the price, I can get more sets and have 8-10 spare batteries with me on any shoot. Doesn't seem to make sense to me to buy the official name brand batteries. One thing I did note, when you plug an official Sony battery into this charger, the charger indicator doesn't function. But if you leave it in there for a while, I do overnight, it's always 100% the next day. So, value for money, these are great. ... show more

I've used K&F brand gear before, I always thought it was good enough for non-professional work and this battery/charger kit fits right in with that sentiment. It takes about 75-90 mins to charge to full, the batteries don't get hot while charging, and I estimate they have about 85% life of an OEM Sony battery at less than half the cost. All in all, it's a fantastic deal and I'm glad I found this kit. I'll update this review if I find any longevity or heat issues down the line. ... show more

Good purchase. like the base station and the non oem batteries. However they will not have then same run time as an oem battery. If they lasted like an oem battery I would have given this a 5 star review. I have them as backups and they have come in handy several times. For the money it’s a good buy and I use them. However When I reported this to K&F customer service promptly reached out to me offering to replace the unit at their cost without asking any questions.
