JVC's KD-R490 CD receiver delivers strong sound, while it offers several ways to get your music going while you're on the road. First of all, you can plug your Android™ into the USB port on the front panel, and run your music with the JVC's controls. Second, you can choose from a sensitive AM/FM tuner, an auxiliary input, or a CD player. You can run the show using the simple controls on the detachable faceplate or with the included wireless remote control.

The original radio in my Honda died and I got this device which works great! Sound is much better, more detailed than before. I needed a radio that will play music from an USB drive and CDs, and don't need phone connectivity as I prefer to keep my eyes on the road while driving. Very easy to install with the Metra kit. The only thing missing are the M5 0.8mm screws to mount the radio into the Metra, but you can get them at Home Depot. ... show more

    • Did not come with remote...
IT DID NOT COME WITH THE REMOTE, which was pretty much the only reason I chose this one specifically. I had to buy a remote separately and it won't arrive for like two weeks so useless to me until I pay more money and wait for the remote.

    • Won’t allow user to play music using iPhone 11
No Bluetooth or touchscreen. The usb doesn’t allow music to play from iPhone 11 which is a disappointment since it was advertised as being able to do so. Sound quality is acceptable.
