so I first bought the chicken variety and was impressed at the realness of the food and my dog loved loved it. So when I bought this I was excited for him. But when we tried the lamb and beef the looked the same as canned food mostly AND my dog didn't really like them. He likes the chicken and turkey but wasn't excited about the beef and the lamb he could barely tolerate. He is a bit on the picky side normally but I never seen that kind of reaction... he really didn't like the lamb. ... show more

My dogs do not like this product and 8 servings for $65 is beyond affordable. I've cancelled this order weeks ago but they keep charging me and delivering the product. When I try to return they said not returnable. Do I have to close my credit card? Please cancel!

10/10/2022: JustFoodForDogs PantryFresh Dog Food - Fresh, Whole Food Ingredients Ready to Serve Adult Dog & Puppy Food - Sampler Variety (12.5oz - Pack of 8) I use wet food as a meal topper for my dog so he enjoys his meals and actually eats on a schedule. He LOVES this food. I like the ingredients and I like that it's shelf-stable for a long time. The packaging is not very convenient if you only use a small amount a day, and it's a bit messy due to the height of the box -- I don't have any utensils with long enough handles, and I get some of it on my hands every day. On the other hand my dog absolutely LOVES it, so it's worth the mess. When this dog food arrived, my dog was all over the shipping box immediately. I opened the box and took the various food containers out of the box to look at them, and he made it *very* clear that he wanted the Lamb and Rice formula first. The boxes are sealed tight with no openings so I'm a little surprised he could smell what was in there at all, but he was the same with both lamb and rice boxes - he couldn't stop smelling them. So of course that's the one we tried first. The box is a little difficult to open, though it can be done without scissors. The food is packed tightly into the boxes. I found the consistency to be quite thick for the lamb and rice formula. At room temperature it mixed into his dry food nicely, but I only use a small amount per meal and after the rest had been refrigerated it became necessary to add a little water so I could mix it together easier. The dog doesn't mind at all, of course! The box does not reseal, and it does not fit very well into the quart size zipper bags that I have right now, so it's a bit of a pain storing this food between uses. It says to use within 5 days of opening, but I only use a tiny bit every day, so I had to throw away uneaten dog food after the 5th day. It might still be good for longer than 5 days, but since I already think it smells bad I wouldn't be able to tell by smell if it had gone bad. For the amount they charge per box I hate the thought of wasting any of it. Overall -- I'm happy with this order, although unless it gets a lot cheaper I probably won't be buying it regularly. ... show more

My large and xlarge breed dogs loved these. All of the flavors. They gobbled them right up. Almost didn't let me finish pouring them and they've been trained to wait. 😆 The cat heard the commotion and smelt what all the fuss was about and demanded some for herself. She meowed and purred while eating it too. I had animals all under my feet. About fell over them in the midst of it all. Should come with a warning label😜😜 ... show more
