My boy is loving the food! Fingers crossed he will continue to lap up instead if pushing away his dish when its meal time! The only thing I would suggest or maybe dislike is the portions. For the amount of money I am spending every 3 weeks. I would love this product to make it through 4weeks! Once a month which would have to make it 2 to 3 more packages to make this happen. He gets 2 cups a day and I have to add a little fresh pet food to make this product last the three weeks. I think y'all need to measure out what 2 cups every day for 4wks will amount to without driving the price up. I definitely dont want to have to change him he's very picky and would love to keep him on this good for him food! I would love to see more product for the price!

I gave this food as suggested replacing two tablespoons of food per every four days. This has been the only change in feeding for my dog. At 2:30 am on the 7th day of my Dog eating this food she started to vomit. By 9 am after vomiting again I took her to an emergency veterinary appt. She had 3 imagines X-rays, bloodwork for everything from parasites to other pathogens. Her intestines were so inflamed and we are on day 6 and she has been to the veterinary two times to get relief. She is currently on anti nausea drugs, a liquid probiotic, pills for reflux and on a prescription dog food after eating four day of boiled chicken breast and rice. The discomfort this has caused my dog is immense. She had five days of mucus in her poop and finally today has just soft poop. This has cost me over $2,400 since her appts were emergencies. It makes me so angry that when I read reviews they were mostly how wonderful this food is for their pet. When I told the vet we only changed one thing he said it is the venison and you need to warn others. Hopefully this review is one of the first people see. I now have read several other reviews and feel so foolish that I put my dog in such a horrible health crisis! Never again will I purchase a “healthy” dog food. Make your own and stick with whatever your veterinary doctor recommends.

Initially, our dog DannyBoy loved this food, but after a few weeks, he lost interest. We decided that this might reflect that he didn't feel well after injuring his leg. But even after his leg improved, he still didn't regain his taste for this -- at least to the same extent. We've been mixing it with canned chicken. Between the two, he's happy.

I’m not usually the type to change my pets diet because of many digestive problems they have but I gave my dogs a chance to try this dog food and they completely loved it!! I used the small guide they have and started by only replacing a small portion(about a 1/4) of their usual dog food with this one. They ate the just for dogs food first lol!! And finished with their regular dry food. I have 3 teacup chihuahuas and I ordered the 7 pack. It lasted me a pretty long time since they eat very small portions. Something I really liked about this food is that it doesn’t have that typical wet dog food smell and it’s because it’s human grade quality. Visually it looked appetizing as well lol. And it didn’t make my fur babies sick whatsoever. I see myself putting in another order in the future!!

His skin and hair look phenomenal, a huge improvement since we switched from kibble and other dog food brands like Freshpet. Daggy used to suffer from rashes and bumps, but since transitioning to JustFoodForDogs, these have gradually faded. Plus, his bowel movements are regular, and he no longer experiences constipation. He even has more energy and enthusiasm to get out of bed, which I believe is thanks to the quality of the food he’s eating.
