WRONG ITEM, BUT THESE ARE AWESOME. 5 stars for this item (as I have many older pairs already), but they keep sending me JMS panty hose.... So I have been wearing these for at least ten years... used to buy them at WMart, I love them. When I recently saw they were on sale for only $10 I ordered 5 pairs, but when they came they were another JMS item that was NOT cotton/poly but rather nylon/spandex (see label in pic) and about as thin as pantyhose. I called and told them the wrong item was sent and they had me place a "replacement order of exact same item" even tho I was asking why the exact same item if they sent the wrong one.... so figures AGAIN today the same pantyhose showed up, so the problem was not with this item, which I will get to in a minute, but with the fact they keep sending the wrong item. These JMS Capri leggings (if you get the right ones) are SOOOO comfy, mostly cotton (so good for absorbing moisture) fit right and last... So I sit here with my SECOND wrong order, I again will try to order 5 and hope the right ones come. Whomever is packing these is clueless, cause I have tons of these in my drawer and these new ones are not what they are sending me, even the packaging is the OTHER ones they have here on Amazon (with the lady in the tan high heels on the label, wearing them as HOSE with a dress OVER them as they are see thru...). My JMS capris in my drawers (THESE PICTURED) are thicker, not see-through, and more like pants but work fine as leggings. I also posted a pic with the wrong item nylon pantyhose type things they just sent, and I can hold the WHOLE pair in my one hand, which I can never do with my actual leggings from JMS, so come on Amazon, you need to send me the right ones please... cause they are awesome... I hope I made sense here. I could have done 1 star for them, but that would be blaming a GOOD product for Amazons mistake - so if you are wanting a cotton, COMFY, stretchy pair of capri leggings to dress up or down and wear as pants with tops, THESE are great! I just hope you get the right ones, and not the pantyhose they sent me LMAO - I will try ordering ONE MORE TIME, new order, and hope that they send me THESE- I will update later. ... show more

Gave these 3 stars because while they're comfortable and soft, they're not quite a perfect fit for me. The color: The black isn't truly black. Like someone else mentioned, it looks more like a black that's been washed a lot, faded a bit. The fit: I'm somewhere between an apple and a pear shape, big tummy/behind but thin legs in proportion. I have the darnedest time finding pants that fit right and sadly these are no exception. Maybe I just have a big behind, but the seat feels like it doesn't go up far enough, like if I bend over, I'm going to be flashing my crack (thank goodness I prefer tunic length shirts). lol Also, as someone else mentioned, the legs are a little too big. They don't cling like I'd hoped they would. Wearing them, there's a lot of bagginess in the thigh and calf, so they look more like a regular pair of capris (aka without the stretch). I'd need to down a size in order for them to cling the way I wanted them to, but then that would make them uncomfortable on my stomach (I have IBS...if I inadvertently eat something that upsets my stomach and it bloats, a tight pair of pants can be really painful). But for $8, I suppose I can't complain. They're thick, so not see-through (a big plus considering I found a LOT of leggings that are), but not so thick that they're too hot (and I live in Texas), they washed fine, didn't shrink, and they are comfortable, no thick band in the waist that folds or cuts into my stomach. ... show more

I've ordered from this brand for years without many issues. But these are some of the worst stretch capris I've ever tried on. The first size I ordered fit well in the waist area, but the calf area was very tight, without much stretch. So I returned those and ordered two more, one size up. These new ones are OK in the calf area (though still a tiny bit too snug -- and my calves are in normal proportion to the rest of me, so they're not just unusually large). However, the bigger ones are MUCH too large in the thigh area. They're supposed to be stretch capris, not parachute pants. But with the way these bulge out on the outsides of the thighs, you might not know that. The capris are also cut with extra space in the hip area. However, they didn't cut out for the hip where your hip actually is. They seem to have added extra space for hips in the mid-thigh area. I'm going to keep these because I can't be bothered with the hassle of more returns and because I only got them to wear under dresses anyway (which will hide the odd bulging fabric on the outside of the thighs). But I'd definitely not order these again. Not the only issue I've had with this year's clothes from this brand, so something just seems to be lacking in quality overall this time around. These are great. The fabric is thick and doesn’t turn see through when you bend over, they’re true to size, the bottoms don’t roll, and the elastic on the waist is comfortable. The price point is also good and the thicker fabric makes them warm enough to hang around the house in even this late into fall. I would full on live in these things if I could, but regardless these are a pair of stretch pants I’m actually okay with being seen in public in. ... show more

I bought these leggings in 2021 and was a 2x back then. They still fit and are comfortable, but I needed a few more pair. Fast forward to this week and 2x is now a tad small. They've changed the design of the waist band and it almost didn't fit around my hips. I was afraid I'd tear it. So I ordered a few more pair in 3x and oh my word they are comfy! The sizing chart was accurate. They're also finally actual capris length on me. I have long legs and the old ones only came down to my knees. The 3x actually go down to my mid-calf. Finally! Yes, the company has changed the design, but I still highly recommend these. Just be sure to check the size chart because they run a bit smaller now. ... show more
