I purchased this for my son to create his own Halloween costume and a year later he still plays with it. He isn’t the easiest with his toys either and it has held up both physically and the sound still works. I love the noises it makes as well as how the eyes move with the mouth movement. I did have to make a slight modification to it by adding Velcro on the strap to make it so that it would be tighter because he has a large head but small at the same time. I don't know what the age range is for this toy, my son had his heart set on this for a few months and I purchased it as an incentive for doing well on a spelling test. My kiddo is 7yo with a large head and this was still a bit too large for his head. I wasn't able to get the chin strap tight enough using the velcro already on the strap so I ended up using zip ties to hold the chin straps together for a smaller fit (this fixed the problem with fit) and now he's able to open the jaws of the raptor using his own jaw. He thinks this is totally cool and likes to run around the house pretending he's a raptor and then crawls around with the dogs pretending. Is it worth the $29? I don't know but he seems to enjoy it. If your kiddo has an imagination and likes to play pretend this would be perfect. If your kiddo isn't much into pretend play it's probably not worth the money. ... show more
