This is soft, I purchased to place near a couch to absorb the shock of my geriatric dogs jumping off. Mostly, it works for the reason I purchased it. I use small treats to get one of my dogs to do a HEP program on this rug as well. If one of the little treats falls from my dog slobbered fingers, it is hard to get out of this carpet. However, the dogs also have 'lost' it on the rug so I have put it through the gentle cycle of my washing machine and aired it dry. Love this rug!! soft and thick! Kind of expensive but I think its worth it since its so nice!. My 5 year old grand daughter wants to sleep on it instead of her bed its so soft!. If I had to find a negative I would say make sure you are careful vacuuming it. If your vacuum is really powerful it may pull the rug apart. ... show more

Carpet is perfect. I needed something soft under my dogs stairs so she wouldn’t slip going up or down them and it’s perfect. I just payed it out and the pup had already laid claim lol. It’s also super soft and nice on the feet. Great purchase.

It’s super soft but definitely be careful when you go to vacuum (maybe lift your vacuum up a couple of levels if you’re able so that it doesn’t try to grab awkwardly).
