To preface this I'm a total novice never owned or rode a skateboard before this. I think it's a pretty good beginner board if you tighten up the bushings a little not much. Having a wide wheel base and deck gives you a lot of control I was able to stay on it from day 1. Where I live has some pretty awful roads and it's a little heavy to push with ease on rough surfaces but it has soft wheels and bushings so the vibration isn't horrible could probably dampen it a bit more with a rubber riser but cruiser style is probably better suited to these conditions. When there is a stretch of clean asphalt the thing absolutely glides. Pretty good board for the money, I see no cracking in the wood around the truck bolts despite the hell I've already put it though so it'll probably hold up a long while. 6 years later she still RIPS, i love this board very adjustable and flexible. it rides very smooth and for being so cheap you won’t find a better quality. its not a name brand board so it’s not wild but it is so good!! (130lbs with friends up to 200lbs using it)

    • Beginner friendly but loud over narrow seams
As a 58-year-old beginner, I found this longboard to be a great entry-level option. It strikes a nice balance between stability and maneuverability, which made learning feel comfortable and manageable. At the skate park, it rode smoothly and stayed relatively quiet. On typical outdoor surfaces, though, the experience was different. Riding along the concrete paths at Virginia Beach, the board became noticeably loud when going over narrow seams. The noise was amplified by nearby buildings and echoed quite sharply, which made me feel a bit self-conscious. Overall, I think this is a solid beginner board, especially for smoother surfaces. However, if you plan to ride on rough or segmented pavement, you may want to look into softer or quieter wheels ... show more

Amazing! I’m a beginner, and I thought this board was amazing! Only had it for one day, but really smooth ride, and tight turns. It seems a little flimsy, but surprisingly it works awesome.
