It works fairly well with a 20 volt DeWalt however it will drain the battery when charging hey Dead 12 volt truck I went through three large capacity 20 volt batteries to get it jumped. As long as you have a bunch of batteries which I do you'll be good if you just have one or two you'll be out of luck.

I would not recommend trying to jump a car using these. I blew the thermal fuse in my DeWalt battery. I'm not sure what the use is for this item, but it is NOT for jumping a car battery.

All tradesman should have one of these in their vehicle. Especially if you work out in the middle of nowhere on your own and find yourself with a dead battery. Had the chance to test this very scenario recently (-10*F). Easy to hook up and worked like a charm.

Had my yard guy with a ram 4500 with the big 6.4l engine battery died hooked up this with a dewalt 20 volt battery and it turned over with no problems. Very impressive.
