I loved the item in the box. Color and quality of material is nice and it will function but not the best. The pictures on the assembly booklet are confusing. When I put it together I had a hard time. It states it needs two people to assemble never stated in ad. I am a widow on a budget - I had no access to a second without paying extra. If you follow the directions closely - you assemble some things " up in the air" and hard to complete in a single try. It was some of the simple assemblies that gave me trouble. One major complaint is with the fact that it seems they put the "slide into position" slides are on the wrong side of number 4. I actually love the challenge of figuring out design- but I could not figure that page and though I thought I was mistaken, so I sat back to mentally refigure-no matter how you manipulate #4 so that slides were on the right side - it would not work. The back needs to be secured with stronger material - not thick or sturdy enough. The lack of back for the fireplace makes the stand less stable and flimsy to move. The holes for the wires don't make sense unless all your electric items remain in the cupboards when in use. I am a record collector and the vinyl fits nicely when I take the shelves out. The record player and TV are held on the outside- not inside. So what is the point? Though all together it is nice and stylish- it is not an item that will withstand time. I would not buy again - and once it is set up and you realize it you can't return it. ... show more

This is an excellent stand. We liked the first one we bought for our sunroom so much that we purchased another one for our living area. Very high quality and easy to build. The only thing that I wish the manufacturer would offer, are the 2 circle cutouts in the back panel. We do not use the center shelves for equipment, so the holes are not necessary and a bit unsightly. If they could cut the holes, but leave the pieces there, it would give the consumer the option to use them or not. This is minor however, and I would highly recommend this product.     • Beautiful spacious TV stand, assembly is a pretty tricky
The table is very nice looking and has plenty of space. My 65" tv fits perfectly on top. The stand looks of decent quality. The comments on assembly are correct. It went smoothly for me for most part, except I put the middle shelf backwards in the beginning when it was not obvious which side was front and which one was back. Also the screw holes to attach the doors (which happens towards the end) are not already drilled. Since I only had a basic screwdriver, I had to use some strength to force the screws through. The assembly also took about 3 hours total (a reason I left the backwards shelf from beginning as is since it would have taken me just as long if not more to undo everything and put it back together). Think some good text instructions and properly drilled holes towards the end will go a long ways in making the assembly smoother. ... show more

Shipping was quick per usual. Inspected parts upon receiving and everything checked out good. Husband and I began the assembly process following the step by step instructions that came with it and about a little over half way through we ran into a problem that we couldn't figure out … you’ll see a-lot of people in the reviews say the same thing. a 2 hour assembly turned into 3 and a half hours which isnt too bad but what we had to do was take everything apart … i came on amazon to see if anybody had any solutions and i saw that there is a 3 min video … we watched that and we flew through the assembly and everything worked out all in all we love it JUST WATCH THE VIDEO TO ASSEMBLE if you run into any problems using the paper instructions. ... show more

ofc I'm an ex journeyman mechanical technician, auto mechanic, etc. You probably should not try this at home. Assembly easier with two people. Not for the ham fisted who over tighten. You can get into trouble putting this one together. Design is well though out but it takes a little talent to put it together right. Sturdy and looks good once it's together. Most holes were drilled just right. Two holes on each door that hold the plate for the magnetic latches needed some rework. ... show more
