I have been using this product for years. I love the color pink peony and I wear it daily. It is a beautiful sheer shimmering neutral toned pink that is buildable. I know it’s for cheeks but I wear it on my lips as well. You can just put two dots on your cheeks and you’ve got a sheer shimmery pink glow with no need for a highlighter and you can add more and get more color. It’s beautiful on the lips as well and you could use it straight on your lips for a light shimmery sheer color for over lip liner or over a lipstick to give it a softer look or a shimmery appearance. The guava shade is also beautiful and is more of a warm soft peachy coral with tons of shimmer. My girlfriend uses this one the most and she is fair skinned with freckles and I have medium cool toned skin. We both wear both colors and they look great. When using it as a lipstick it stays on forever because it does dry down but it’s not drying on the lips. ... show more

I have been using this as eyeshadow and it’s not bad. It does not dry into a powder really and does stick into my eyelid creases some. With that said, I just smudge it around some & it looks fine. I haven’t tried it on my cheeks or lips yet haha. So maybe the “powder” finish isn’t as powder like bc I’m putting it on my eyelids.. the color is lovely though on my fair skin & doesn’t seem to have as much garbage in the ingredients. ... show more

As I’ve gotten a bit older, Ive been looking to simplify my makeup routine. I have tried the Boom by Cindy Joseph “Boomstick” products, which are marketed as Pro-aging, but they just don’t look great on me, so I have been looking for an alternative. The Julep sticks have a range of color options and are just as creamy and smooth looking as Boom, but much more highly pigmented, so that you don’t need to reapply all the time! I found The Julep Passion Fruit color to be very similar to the Boom color, but more pigmented. I like it with the Sheer Glow as a highlighter. Great product! ... show more

I liked the color. I didn't like that it had fallen out of the tube into the lid, and did not come out. It was too soft to dig out, it would have ruined it. Useless, very disappointing. I'm afraid that being tossed in a large box with two bathroom rugs. is what caused the damage, Also disappointed that when I take this back to UPS and send this back I will not get a refund, I will get a "gift card/credit." ... show more

Cute packaging but the mound of product sticking up above the line where it can be retracted and protected by the packaging is just not helpful. I’ve already gouged it several times in my hurry to put on make up. If you have two hours every morning to calmly apply your make up, it may be great.
