Its not a thin band, but I did not need to order a bigger size. I love the look of the setting… I think it’s called a tension setting. It’s a great value and isn’t supposed to tarnish. I really like this company and since stone is loose, I’m thinking about ordering another one. I don’t think it gave a carat weight of the stone, but I would say it’s between 1.5 and 2ct. It doesn’t have prongs to catch on clothes and it sits flat. I totally recommend this ring. This is one of the best rings I've ever had. It's so comfortable that I never feel like I want to take it off. The diamond is so sparkly. But it's the setting that's so great. It's sophisticated, simple, and so comfortable. So far it's holding up very well (almost 2 months of constant wear). The silver is shiny and smooth. We are going on vacation and I am on the hunt for a nice travel ring. I really like stainless steel and I don't mind larger stones. I purchased another ring from this same seller that is listed at 1.5 carats for the center stone and this one is slightly larger, so I'd say this one is likely a 2 carat stone. (Maybe I missed it, but I had a hard time finding that information in the listing.) I prefer this one, as the prongs on the other one are a little sharp. The other one is also a little top heavy. THIS ring is nice and smooth and the stone does not twist around to the bottom or sides of my finger. It seems more balanced. Received this ring and was really disappointed with the quality. In reading reviews before I purchased and looking at photos online I expected something a bit more realistic, this ring was a disappointment. I am not sure what everyone else was reviewing and raving about because it wasn’t the ring I received. The cz in the ring was cloudy and cheap looking.
