Size: 2 Skeins Color: 117 Marzipan
I actually really like this yarn for the most part - I got the marzipan color and it's very pretty, and it's also very soft and true to gauge - but because of the way it's made, the softness/fluffiness will absolutely slough off the raw ends and just leave a bare thread, so there's no way you could leave any of the yarn hanging out of the work or make anything like a tassel out of it. Also when you use a tapestry needle to sew the ends into the work, the needle's eye tugs on the fluff as you pull and the fluff scrunches together to create another bare spot. Same goes for when you make a magic circle to start crocheting in the round - when you pull the yarn end to tighten the circle, the fluff wants to scrunch together in places and shed off the loose end, which makes you not want to pull it tight, which leads to the circle loosening as you work with it. I've been crocheting with it for a few days and it has served my purposes well and looks nice, but I haven't had to pull out any stitches (so far) and I'm afraid if I do then it will be very difficult to reuse whatever length had to be tugged out. To be fair, I will probably buy this yarn again because I like the way it feels and the color isn't available in other yarns of this type, but if color isn't an issue then I will probably use Bernat velvet instead, as it doesn't have nearly the same problem with scrunching/shedding or bare spots. ... show more

  • Fell apart and sheds like crazy.
Size: 2 Skeins Color: 107 Coffee Bean
Absolutely beautiful color, insanely soft, and seemingly just what I needed even though it was a lot thinner than the other chenille yarns I had by a different brand at the same weight and all that. It shed more than my german shepherd, but it's fuzzy, so I expected it to get fuzzies everywhere. It fell apart at the ends, I was willing to forgive that because I was using it for doll hair, not knitting or crochet, I'd tie the ends (of each individual strand of hair...) and it'd be fine. What made it absolutely unusable for me was the string holding the fuzzies randomly snapping with very light handling and shedding all the fuzzies out. Makes it absolutely unsafe for a doll for my little girl. Super disappointed because the color was perfect for what I needed and brown is so hard to find. ... show more

  • Cheap yarn!
Size: 2 Skeins Color: 109 Rouge
The thing I hate most about this yarn is how easily it tangles and when untangling, the yarn disintegrates down to the bare string. This is cheaply made yarn, i would recommend spending a bit more on a higher quality.

  • Yarn is good , pay attention to color .
Size: 2 Skeins Color: 104 Periwinkle
Soft yarn , thickness is fine . Wish I would have paid attention to the name of the color vs just looking at the photo . I thought it had more of a pink tone too it but it’s more purplish . I will be buying again and paying more attention to the name of color as well as the picture .

  • Inferior Quality
Size: 4 Skeins Color: 107 Coffee Bean
Sorry I bought this yarn. Terrible to work with. Shedded badly,; some areas had no chenille on it, just thin thread. Returned for refund. Went back to the yarn I’ve used & have been satisfied with before.

  • Very nice but small bundles
Size: 4 Skeins Color: 107 Coffee Bean
This is very nice yarn to work with, but keep in mind they are pretty small bundles. If you’re making a blanket order double. Color and quality are quite good, I would order again.

  • Loses its fuzz
Size: 2 Skeins Color: 103 Cannoli
I was surprised at how easily this chenille yarn loses its fuzz as you handle it. I recommend Bernat Baby Velvet instead.

  • Thin
Size: 2 Skeins Color: 102 Porcelean
Very thin so My project was not thick and soft. I made one small item and donated the remaining 3 skeins.
