I picked these up mainly for charging in the car and around the house, and so far they’ve been solid cables for the price. The braided exterior feels much more durable than the cheap smooth plastic cables that usually start fraying near the ends after a few months. The reinforced connector area also seems well designed and doesn’t feel loose when plugged into my phone. One thing I really like is the 6.6ft length. It gives you a lot more flexibility compared to the shorter cables that come with most devices, especially when charging from the backseat, couch, or bedside table. The bright red color is also surprisingly useful because it’s easy to spot quickly instead of disappearing into a pile of black cords. Charging speeds have been good overall with my iPhone and portable battery pack. I wouldn’t call it the absolute fastest charging cable I own, but it has been reliable and consistent without connection dropouts or overheating issues. I also tested it with CarPlay and had no disconnect problems during drives, which was important for me since some third-party cables can be hit or miss there. Update to my review I bought these cables on Dec 3rd, 2020, it's now Dec 19th, 2020 The cables still work, nothing has broken. Using the same Note 8 phone, everything works perfectly. I love these cables, so i ended up buying more of them. Now i own them in different colors: red, silver, blue. I suggest buying different colors for different types of connectors. It makes it easier to know which is which. Example of what I'm doing: RED = USB-C (Phone charging) Silver = USB-C (Bluetooth headphones charging cables) Blue = Micro USB (Android tablet) Blue = Micro USB (Logitech wireless gaming headphones) Makes life easier. I know exactly what the cable is for, what type of connector they are based on color. __________________ I bought these cables to replace my original Note 8 phone power cable. My original power cable eventually became damaged. I was worried about buying a 3rd party power cables for my cell phone but these cables look and feel high quality....And also, fast charging works. Pros: Fast Charging - It works, my phone says "fast charging" when i use these cables. (i'm using these cables with the original fast charging AC adapter that came with the phone) Cable Length - Good amount of length, the original power cables that comes with phones are too short, it's part of how they break. When you have your phone plugged in charging and you grab the phone and you accidentally yank on the charging cable That's how they break. These new USB charging cables are so long it will help reduce the chance of you breaking them. Quality - The quality is really good, better than the original power cables that come with phones. I am beyond impressed with this JSAUX 2-pack. Finding a cable that actually survives daily wear and tear while looking good is harder than it sounds, but these hit the mark perfectly. The 6.6ft length is the absolute "sweet spot" for convenience; it’s long enough to let me use my iPhone 17 Pro comfortably while lounging on the couch or in the back seat of the car without feeling tethered to the wall. The build quality is immediately noticeable the second you take them out of the box. The nylon braiding feels incredibly premium and, more importantly, it stays tangle-free. I’ve gone through so many cheap plastic cables that fray at the neck, but the upgraded 3D aluminum connectors and laser welding on these feel indestructible. USB cables these days all seem the same, but it’s still worth doing a bit of research before buying. This one, for example, is an excellent companion for most USB-C smartphones. Having a USB-A connector on the other end is very convenient, as it allows you to charge your phone in hotels, airports, or other places—whether or not a charger is available, depending on what you have access to. The reputation of braided cables like this is well established, and the ends are reinforced with rubber sleeves that protect the connectors and the cable itself, helping prevent premature wear and breakage. There may be better options out there, but this one, which we bought to replace a faulty cable in our car, quickly showed us the difference. Our previous low-quality cable had exposed wires, which caused poor connectivity between the phone and the car’s display. Even when it was new, the system was slow. These are really nice charging cables, especially for a busy household. The red color makes them super easy to find when my kids are using them for their tablets no more searching around for lost cords! I also love that this is a 2-pack, so we always have an extra on hand. The longer length is a big plus, giving more flexibility for charging in different spots especially in the car.
