This cables don't behave as USB 3.0, I tested on 3 different computers (2 laptops and 1 desktop), and the result was the same for both cables. You can see on the images the transfer speed from my internal SSD to a external USB SSD drive, first pic is direct attach, the second picture is connected via the extension cable, is the same speed I get from USB 2.0 port. The difference is almost ten times slower than spected.

This was more convenient, than I even expected. I sometimes work in a hotel, and it helps to be able to connect the laptop to the Room TV. But it's inconvenient, having to sit right in front of the TV to reach the keyboard. The main reason I got these, was for my office conference room. Recently, I had a chronic attack of hiccups, a side effect of an antibiotic. So for long periods during the day, I had to work in the conference room with the door closed, and remote to my desktop pc. Before getting these extension cords, I had to put the keyboard on my lap, and the mouse on a coffee table, because they wouldn't stretch far enough to the main conference table. This makes the Conference Room Demos easier, as well. VEEERRY convenient. I can't imagine how much aggravation we all have to put up with, when there are simple technological purchases available that make it all go away.

These just came today, and both cables worked right out of the box. To get a baseline copy speed, I first copied a large (7GB) video file from my desktop to a USB 3.0 flash drive plugged directly into my computer. I then tested each cable extension separately, and the copy speed was the same. I then connected the two extension cables end-to-end (approx. 13 ft) and the copy speed was STILL the same. I can't speak for the longevity or reliability of the cables at this point, but for now, all is good!

This is very good quality; I've bought several these JSAUX braided cords (i'm currently replacing all my cables with braided). These JSAUX are well-made and a great value for what you're getting, at least for me it is. My most recent purchase was for a WD external drive and I can already tell it's delivering a faster data transfer. I'm very pleased. I will be buying more. These braided cords are top-notch. Update: January 2021. Had to change from 5 stars to 3 stars. For use for extended power cable, they work fine. But i had these connected to WD hdd drives and these just could not keep up. Took me forever to figure out what was wrong. These cables cannot do any heavy lifting. But for light use is fine. I gave them to a family member for her to use to charge her phone.

These feel great, are sturdy, and the braided cords are great. However, from the get go, the male connector would not make a solid connection to my PC. I used this to download 60gb of music from a HD to the PC... except every 5 seconds it would lose connection. Tried the second cable, same issue. tried other cables that I already owned and had no problems. The transfer speed for the few seconds it did work, was quick. I wanted these for the length so I didn't have to move my system around to access the USB ports for my portable CD player and portable HD, which come with very short cables.

Seller responded to a question claiming these support quick charging at 2Amps. However, after testing with OnePlus Rapid Charge, Samsung Quick charge, and an off brand Anker 3A charger, I am doubtful. Highest output current registered between 1.2 and 1.5Amps. This may be a consequence of the 6ft lines providing too much resistance. In either case, buyer should be aware that these will not work for quick charge applications. Otherwise they are well made cables (at least out of the box). I have no need to use these for data so I did not test this aspect.

Exceptional fast charging and durable. Excellent extension USB cord, I highly recommend it for anyone that needs the extra length in their cord to purchase this brand. I am using it not only on my PS Vita but also on my Nintendo Switch remotes as well and they are fully charged in no time. The remote charging dock I bought had such a short cord. And the Vita I bought only came with the usb part of the charger and it is not very long. I needed more length. I am very happy with this purchase!!
