When the travel cover is mounted, only BG0105A shoulder bag can acommodate it. Can I also install a travel cover on my ROG Ally after fitting the thumbstick cap? It would be compatible if the height of thumbstick cap is less than 3 mm.

This faceplate is made from high grade plastic and feels very secure. The shoulder buttons are surprisingly well protected. I like the extra thought of the foam pad for the screen. The rubber grip is perfect and fits like a glove. I really like how there is a slim kickstand built into it as well as the detachable clip for holding accessories like a power bank. The first and mostlikely the last case I will be buying for my ROG ALLY . Fits perfectly and looks great on it as well. All the buttons, ports, and vents line up perfectly. Very easy to install juat needs a slight but more force than I was comfortable with but held on well after. Best Case For Rog Ally X

Great case, with great features including a cover with minor cons

Pros - Fit the device snug - Provided a nice grip to the case - Felt comfortable when holding and playing for a while - Back plate attachments offer additional versatility - Cover plate is great for additional protection when traveling. Being able to place it in a travel case or backpack and not worry about the joy sticks getting damaged is definitely a plus. Cons: - Kickstand was ok. - Would have preferred the back vents being cutout for better airflow Overall - 4 Stars(would give it 4.5 if possible): Would have given this 5 stars if it wasn't for the kickstand and the vents. The cover plate and back plate attachment gives this case the edge over other cases I've tried such as the Spigen Thin fit pro. I also found this case to be a little more comfortable to hold than the Spigen Thin fit pro. I do prefer the kickstand on the Spigen but overall, this is a better case with more features at a lower cost. ... show more

Best choice for ROG ALLY X

I absolutely love this grip/case! It’s more affordable than some competitors while delivering an almost identical experience. This is the first grip I’ve used on a handheld that doubles as a case (with the protective cover), and I feel completely confident tossing it into a backpack or leaving it out, knowing my device is fully protected. One feature I particularly appreciate is the hardshell protective case’s raised design over the joysticks, which prevents damage. That’s always been my biggest concern with soft cases and even some hard cases. The grip feels great in the hands, fits snugly around the ROG Ally, and the adjustable kickstand is a fantastic bonus. As far as I can tell, this is the best case/hard shell for the Ally X. It’s solid, the stand holds fast, and the hard shell protects the screen, triggers, and the sticks and even fits over my silicon stick toppers. You can even use the skull & co. Very nice case that I highly recommend for the ROG Ally X
Model: ROG Ally X Size: Basic Set
I was worried that this would make the Ally X too fat and my and I wouldn’t be able to use my controls good. But it fits very nice with no added bulk to the form factor, at least not enough to matter when I’m holding it. It has a nice little kickstand on the back to hold it up when using a dock. It will not fit into the JSAUX dock with this case on, but I don’t consider that a problem because the kickstand it sits right by it. Apparently there were some issues early on with it lining up with the ports, but mine lines up perfectly and I have no problem seeing the lights or accessing the USB ports.
