I really LOVE this collar !!!! My puppy was 10 weeks old and I was not going to cut it - she would grow out of it in 1 week the way she’s growing. She is black/ brown Doberman and on side of our house it’s REAL DARK. I can never see her without flashlight which I didn’t always have 😞. The only solution I came up with was to twist it so it was 1/2 the size and IT FIT HER PERFECTLY AND I STILL WILL HAVE IT TIL SHE’S TOO BIG FOR IT THAT WAY. - then I’ll cut leaving little room to grow which I’m sure won’t be long. I just slipped it over her head. I hope this can at least help even 1 person I WILL BE BUYING COUPLE MORE TO GO WITH HER GROWTH!! Price was extremely good !! Got here soon. I can’t say one bad thing about it! It is so worth the price for my situation so I can see my little puppy. I now have peace of mind with her wearing this !!!! I bought the purple one and it is real bright so she stands out in dark. I tried different types of collars-and this I this is THE BEST !!!! Can’t go wrong !! Sorry it’s long but I am extremely happy with this collar !!!

This is a correction to my previous review just a day or two ago. I recently wrote a very negative review about this light up collar that I must correct & I wonder if any other negative reviewers could have experienced the same thing that I did. I purchased 2 of these collars in Nov "23" & when I went to turn them on just a couple days ago, they did not come on, even after charging them. I just figured they were a piece of junk & I was out the money I spent on them. I began a new search for a different brand of lighted dog collars & read all the negative reviews first. During my search on a random collar, I read in the "troubleshooting" section that said, if the lights don't come on, hold the on/off button down for 2 seconds as opposed to push & release immediately. I started thinking about my collars that I sat aside as no longer worthy & decided to push & hold the on/off button for 2 seconds & imagine my surprise when not only that one but the 2nd collar's lights came on. Maybe it was always supposed to be "hold for 2 seconds" & I just forgot because it had been a while since I'd used them, but they worked just fine last night. So, I am changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars & I hope this could possibly help someone else, like me.

Without question this is the worst lighted small dog collar I’ve ever bought. First it comes with no installation instructions that actually show how to install it. Thats ok but the size cannot be changed to accommodate growth and NO ability to fine tune it. For my dog, 15 lbs, about half the collar had to be cut away (8 out of 16 lights). Lights are spaced 1 1/2 inches apart. The on off switch/battery body is three inches long for 11 inches of light and the power switch is impossible to use with gloved hands. It’s small, hard to press and just takes too much time to turn on. If not careful it pops into another mode and you have to reset your mode. My collar came completely uncharged. That is unusual for protecting batteries in storage. I tested the collar in 50 degree weather and they lasted two hours. That means I will need to charge them every two days. My other collars last about 2 weeks although they were not as bright and not rechargeable. There are two pluses. The lights are bright and the collar can be attached with gloved hands but not as easily as the traditional snap attachments. For larger dogs this collar would be better but the lack of fine tuning the collar size is a particular glaring weakness.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this collar. It wasn't what I expected kind of cheap looking but it definitely looks great in the dark. We take lots of early morning and late night walks . My puppy is always everywhere in the woods on our property. This is a great way to see her. It come huge just cut it down to size and that's it!! It has been through it and it still works like day one! Rechargeable is a plus!! Love the bright colors.

I am trying to reduce the chance my 8lb puppy will become a tasty snack for known predators in the area. This collar is an ideal part of my protection plan. I cut it just large enough to slide over his head. The lights are bright and with the option of changing the color and pattern provides variety in discouraging coyotes, fox, and the two great horned owls known to frequent our vicinity.. (as well as me keeping track of him in our fenced yard!) Great price, light weight, yet durable. Recharges in an hour. I am much more comfortable letting him out in the wee hours , at dusk, and in the late evening. 10/6 I just felt I needed to re evaluate my review. I have used this collar for 4 days now. I rate it now at 4 stars instead of 5. Even with using the collar carefully for no more than a total of 3 hrs max in a 24 hr period, the battery was spent. I usually have plugged it in each day after the early morning use. Yesterday I did not. This morning it was dead after 15 min. It took a full two hours to recharge. I love it when working, but apparently the battery is a weak point. It will be interesting to see how long the collar will continue to function.
