I tend to obsess on finding the perfect wine glasses for each type of wine. Have mostly ended up with Riedel or Spiegelau but could not find a white wine glass with a smaller volume and modern angled sides under 9” tall until these. I love the slightly softened angle on the bowl and its placement on the glass. Very pleasing proportions. The more modern high end universal glasses all seem to have extremely tall chimneys and look out of proportion to me. Was a little concerned about reported production flaws but these were all perfect with level bases, etc. The beadless top rims are thin but not overly fragile. (I put all my crystal in the dishwasher but the Miele is very gentle on everything). I am so pleased with these glasses I just bought another four so I will always have a couple of spares. This is the second set of these I have purchased. This set was for a friend who never thought she wanted stemmed wine glasses but she liked these so much I bought them for her as a gift. Not only are they really beautiful, they are also perfectly balanced and delightful to hold. I’ve had my set for a few years and they are all still intact. And Joyjolt deserves a big shout out for customer service! The gift set I purchased had one glass with a small chip in the base. This wasn’t detected until the gift was opened, and at that point we were outside the return window. I contacted Joyjolt and a new glass was delivered within a couple of days. Bravo!
