We love our old school milk bottles that are great for juices and milk. With the right bottle scrubber, the bottles are easy to clean, and the plastic tops are easy to clean as well. The thick glass keeps your liquids cold when out of the fridge, and the plastic tops keep your liquids from spilling. The size is nice and will fit in most spaces within your fridge

The bottles themselves are very nice. The lids do not screw on and are not a tight fit at all. The lid with the pouring spout fits much tighter but still it would be much nicer to have a screw on lid for a secure closure.

I bought these to store smoothies in the fridge. They are good quality glass with side handles and snug plastic caps. I usually use used half-gallon plastic milk containers, which are great, but these glass jugs are a little more classy and durable.

HUPDATED - 14 Jan '26 - Turns out, the issue with the caps is not quite as bad as we thought at first. When the bottles were at room temperature (as they were when we opened the box), the plastic bottle caps didn't fit as snugly as they do on a set of these bottles that we purchased previously. The worry was, when the bottle is filled with milk or any liquid, if it tipped even slightly, the liquid would pop the loose cap. Turns out, when the bottle comes out of the refrigerator, it and the cap are cold and it seems that makes the plastic cap shrink just enough to be quite tight. Not saying you could turn the bottle upside down and the milk would not pop it and spill out, but it certainly will be tight enough to prevent a leak if you tilted the bottle a bit. I still would have loved it if the cap stayed super tight no matter what teperature. We just LOVE these authentic glass milk (or other liquids too) bottles). The are made of beautifully clear, thick glass that while yes, they are a bit of nostalgia -- we had milk delivered in bottles exactly like these for years when we were kids -- they are very functional. The thick glass construction holds the cold much longer than cardboard milk containers, so we are not as concerned about how long we've left them out on the table. They keep the milk much colder and much longer than typical containers, and of course, the colder you can keep your milk, the longer before it turns sour. We transfer any milk we buy that comes in plastic or cardboard containers right into these beautiful bottles. The reason only three stars and not the 5 we gave our last purchase of the same, the plastic caps that came with these bottles don't fit as snuggly as the caps on the ones we bought about a year or so ago. Everything looks the same, but these caps don't snap on really tight. If you were to turn a full bottle of milk over with the cap on, the milk would force open the cap and spill out. Not quite a reason to return them, but a bit of a disappointment. You really want a tight seal on that cap so in the event you tip a full bottle even slightly when carrying it out of the refrig to the table, you don't want to have to worry about milk leaking thru the cap. Then again, they were nice enough to send extra caps. That is appreciated. BTW, I haven't tried all the caps. The two I did try might be outliers.
