I originally bought a very small version of these for My morning espresso shot with a little bit half-and-half. They were great but I always liked more coffee than what is in the smaller cups so they are expensive, And I didn’t buy them for a long time. My mistake because once I got them I have been using them basically daily. It’s great for a nice big mug of coffee and it stays warm for much longer than just your average coffee cup. They’re easily used in the microwave and they really make the coffee look great. I’ll take some whole milk and used my little foam or device that I got from ikea And then I slowly pour the espresso shot in the side and it layers it and looks impressive. Great product! As soon as I received my package, I washed the cups and made my first cup of coffee. I love the way the insulation layer of glass makes the coffee look like it is floating. It is sturdy, but lightweight, stylish, but practical. Would make a great gift!!!!

    • First pair developed leaks and cracks; second pair seems fine.
I've had these mugs for only a day, but so far they're fine. They're nicely finished, the handles are comfortable, and the coffee stays warm longer. UPDATE After I had used one of the two mugs about three times, water appeared in the space between the inner and outer walls, clear evidence that the seal had leaked. When I washed the second mug, which I had never actually used at all, to see whether its seal would leak, it developed a crack, presumably because of thermal expansion, where the upper end of the handle attaches to the mug's body. Despite the assurance of dishwasher safety, both mugs were washed only by hand, with the same care that had kept a pair of Home Fashions mugs Home Fashions Double Wall Insulated Mug Glasses, Set of 2, 10 Ounce For Hot And Cold Beverages intact for over a year. These mugs are so nice to use that I'm hoping these were sample defects, though even for this small sample size the 100% defect rate is discouraging. I'm going to order another pair, and will report on how they perform. UPDATE The second pair of JoyJolt mugs arrived on January 25, and both mugs have been used several times. So far they are flawless, so I suspect the problems with the first pair were atypical. If you're thinking about ordering a pair, Amazon's return policy eliminates the financial risk of defects that show up promptly. ... show more

I have another set coming today...because I can't stand them! lol.....friends, family keep commenting how much they love them, keep beverages hot and cold ones cold (so I gift them a set) ...easy to hold, beautiful and the swirly effect from the frothed cream...well, you just have to experience it!     • Soapy water gets stuck between glass, but seller willing to replace for free
UPDATE I modified my original rating of 2 stars and bumped it up to 3 stars. See details below from my original review why I was frustrated. The seller reached out to me and sent me a free replacement set of cups. Unfortunately 1 of the cups had a chip in it and is unusable. I put the other cup in the dishwasher though and was very pleased that it did not fill up with water between the glass panes. The truth is these cups are great if they can get to you in one piece and you don't experience the water issue. For the cups that I received that were not chipped and did not fill with water between the panes, I would actually give them a 5 star rating. The look great, are pleasant to drink out of and are more durable than they look/feel. ******** ORIGNIAL REVIEW I wanted to love these cups. I just bought a fancy new espresso machine, so I liked the idea of being able to see the layers of coffee and froth. The cups looked great. As others have noted, they feel a little fragile, but i have banged them on accident and they didn't break, so maybe that is just in my head. The serious PROBLEM with these glasses are the fact that they have a tiny little hole on the bottom (like a pinhole size). My understanding is that is intentional to allow pressure to be released or something... whatever the case, it's a huge pain. I threw the cups in the dishwasher and when i took them out, one of them had a ton of soapy water stuck between the glass (it filled up about 1/4 of the glass)! If i shake the cup, tiny little drops will come out the pinhole, but 2 days later it still has a ton of soapy water inside. I have 2 cups and this issue only happened to one of them. I'm very disappointed. I threw away all of the boxes and packaging after opening he cups because they looked great and I thought for sure I would keep them. I had no idea I would have these issues after washing. Now I'm unable to return for a refund and I'm stuck with a bad cup. I would not recommend these cups to anybody. ... show more
