Beautiful curtains! The quality and feel of these curtains is great. They are soft to the touch but heavy. In the afternoons the westside sun really was heating up our livingroom, but with these blackout curtains the room is a lot cooler. I would say they blackout the sun pretty good and you cannot see through the curtains. Very pleased with these overall. We will see how they hold up once it comes time to wash them. ... show more

Cannot believe the quality of these drapes, especially for the price. They are weighty! They are not that shiny, cheap-looking velvet, these are thick, with no sheen to them, and look much more expensive than they are. The fact that these are lined with a neutral colored lining is a huge plus, as I don’t care for anything other than white or beige facing the outside of the house. It is rare to find that, particularly at this price. I love that you have the option of hanging method, as well, via rod packet, back tabs, or clips. I absolutely LOVE these velvet black out curtains! They are weighted, lined and very effective in blocking out light and sound. Fabrics used are high quality, the style well designed to hang, move with ease and add elegance to any room decor. They arrived quickly and the packing wrinkles dissappeared after hanging....no worries with these ...I would buy again for sure. I live very close to a train track and busy street and am now sleeping better....wish I would have bought these drapes years ago!- ) ... show more

Got these to put in our bedroom and living room and ended up buying them for every room, they are really nice , thick and high quality. I love the velvety feel of them and wrinkle free fabric. I used the round clamps to attach them to the rods and they look so expensive and were way to install. They are not sold as black out but they work as black out curtain do! ... show more

This product is a life saver for my migraines. I used to have blankets tacked to the wall over my old curtains to try and block any light coming in at all. Light always feels like an assault on my eyes as a chronic migraine sufferer but with these blackouts I can switch rooms easier and not worry abt the lights. These work well and easy to put up. Good value can be pricey but worth it the look and function. It did have a slight smell coming out but faded fast. These are very soft and elegant. My only complaints is I wish they were a bit longer we measured to have floor to ceiling but it ends about 6 inches too fast even though we measured but not too mad because it still looks nice. The light that does come in is at the top as the curtain rods don’t lay flat against the wall, but so far that small piece of light isn’t bad, we do have these paired with tinted window panels. The middle can also separate just a bit to let in light that does hurt my eyes, the only way we were able to fit this was through small laundry clips to keep it shut. ... show more

I can’t help but think this will be highly efficient, holding heat in and heat out depending on the season . Easy to hang ! Very pleased with this purchase. I would definitely purchase again ! 5 stars! (Not sure why it would let me put 4) these are perfect! We are in Vegas and we have 1 bedroom that gets really warm. These are definitely black out curtains. Thick. Soft. Very nice for the price! I will be excited in the next couple week once it gets warmer how well they work with the heat however the room is now very dark even mid day when they are closed. The only negative is trying to get the deep creases out from packaging, I steamed once and I’ll do it again but still worth it for the price. ... show more
