I really loved getting this set and going through everything that came with it. I have started an art journal/junk journal in the notebook it came with and have used some of the wonderful papers. The notebook paper is so smooth and nice for writing. The washi tape is good quality. However, the one thing I absolutely love love love about this set is the glue tape! It really sticks well and it is secure enough to seal envelopes! I really want to buy more of it, maybe the seller can tell me where to get more! Honestly this is a great set for beginners or for paper supply collectors like myself.

Grateful for excellent customer service.would have gotten a better review but the tape dispenser does not work. Would have rather had more paper than a non functioning dispense. I like the color scheme very much but disappointed in the lack of background paper.

There was so much fun stuff in this package! I chose the red theme and I think I’m going to try a different color or theme from Joy next. I’m sharing my ephemera and stickers with my daughter.

Arrived in the actual box and not in another package. The snowy elements soaked through. Some of the pieces are bent and crumbled for some reason as well.

There are some definite pros and cons to this kit. I have been creating art journal and junk journal pages and books for at least a year so I would say that I am, maybe, intermediate in my abilities. I chose the brown kit for my review and imagine that I will use the things included in some project or another, but as one creation this wouldn't work for me. There's LOTS of stuff in the package and it's the quality that I would get from other suppliers so that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 3...but as an "aesthetic journaling kit" this is more suited to beginners and/or teens. I also wouldn't call this a scrapbooking kit as everything is covered with elaborate prints. I wanted to also provide some info in relation to the item description - Each description states that it's vintage ocean themed. I have no idea why it says that. Possibly the blue kit is ocean themed, but they all say that and this one (brown) has nothing ocean themed in it. I would say a majority of the items are nature/botanical themed. It indicates that it has a "TN" notebook. I am guessing they are referring to a Traveler's Notebook. The notebook is the same size as a true Traveler's Notebook but that's where the similarities end. This notebook is 8.3 H x 4.3 W and includes grid paper. There are 16 pages folded in half and stapled in the middle so you get 32 pages total. I prefer my signatures (the "packets" of paper bound into a book) to be smaller so that it's easier to flatten your journal to create your artistic spread. This is kind of hard to flatten and it tears away the pages from the binding because there's too many in the grouping. Probably not anything you would notice unless you are used to working with higher quality journaling products. The "4 coated paper bookmarks" are the shape of a cat (they are all the same) and are basically punched shapes that you can use as bookmarks. They each have a different pattern printed on them. These are something I will pass on as I have no use for them. The other disappointment with this kit is the seemingly random items. There are groupings of the "same" items - such as washi stickers - but they aren't of the same theme. It reminds me of someone going through their journaling stash and pulling out every brownish sticker they had and putting them into a bag. As I mention above...there are LOTS of items in this kit. 2 of each of the 4 quote pages and those are stickers, which makes it nice. The quotes aren't things I would necessarily use and so many of them will go out in happy mail or be passed on to my niece. Very random quotes. The washi tape is nice, but there seems to be maybe a yard or so on the roll. There's also a random lime green striped roll...not sure where that would fit in. But I will use it in my other creations I am sure. Bottom line - the value is there. A nice variety and a lot of it. Otherwise, I wouldn't purchase this for myself but rather for someone who is looking to experiment with junk journaling or mail art designs.

I like that this kit comes with it’s own journal, so I don’t have to buy a separate one for scrapbooking. All of the items are really pretty and it’s fun to put together. One thing I will say is that I feel like there is not enough to complete a whole book, unless you use the items sparingly. Something I like about this kit is that it comes with a “dot roller” which is like little dots of adhesive that you can roll on the back of the paper or whatever material you’re using with it lying down flat on your journal.
