I ordered this for my 11-year-old, who wanted a diary with a lock. The set comes in a zippered storage bag and includes lots of scrapbooking supplies, magnetic bookmarks, pens, and a ruler. These extras will also be handy for decorating school projects. The combination lock was easy to set up—just push the button to the right to set a new passcode. It's also simple to recover the password if forgotten; you can shine a flashlight on the lock and turn the numbers until the grooves line up, which is a great feature in case my daughter forgets her code. The only thing I would’ve liked is for the notebook to have lines to help keep her writing neat and legible.

I ordered this item with my daughter in mind who just happens to love little mermaids and anything under the sea. She was stoked and has not had much time to use it since it was ordered; however, the journal one has become her best friend. With the creative stylish wording and design plus a few options of pens to go with it, the journal has become her best friend and almost a separate oasis where she can immerse herself in a world of endless possibilities. As much as she loves the journal, I am sure all the amazing items in the ensemble will be enjoyed. The pens sparkle and shine with every stroke. The glue unlike that of other DIY kits is strong and long lasting. The stationary and little super bright stick on gems can really make a creation pop. The stickers are theme fitting and the little bookmark clips to hold the pages together are tasteful and beautiful. I love the little heart stamper. It's the perfect size to bring cheer and positivity to any page without overpowering it. She loves this kit and so do I. It had everything a girl could want.

I got this for a soon to be 9 year old girl. It's hard to get presents for this age group especially they don't like Legos or Barbie or most toys. I thought it's a good idea so they can write and decorate or sticks some pictures or drawings on it. This comes with a pouch so nothing will be lost. Great idea! Better than just a cardboard box! It comes with lockable journal, pens, tapes, stickers, stamp, chop, rulers, frame for photos, paper clips and glue stick. I think it looks super cute !

The diary is exactly what the description says. The cover is a padded material which has a decent feel to it. The pages inside are blank with no lines so you could draw doodles with it. My daughter figured out how to lock it within a few minutes and the lock does its job because I can't take a picture of the inside lol. She loves it so not much else to say.
